Katowice is a dynamically developing city of more than 300,000 inhabitants, located in the southern part of Poland. Katowice is also the capital of the Katowice Agglomeration1 with a population of almost 2 million people and is an important educational, cultural and economic centre in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe.
