Accommodations: 230 -style and rental homes, from studio suites to seven- bedroom homes, each offers a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area – most with fireplaces and a balcony or deck.

Elevation: The resort rises from approximately 800 feet above sea level in the valley at Stoney Creek to an elevation of 3,850 feet on the mountain.

Climate: Seasonal, with mountain cool temperatures and low humidity in spring and summer. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 82 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Colder temperatures in winter, combined with the mountain elevation, provide excellent conditions December through March.

Junior Golf Programs  Junior Golf Clinic: Offered in conjunction with the Resort Daily Clinic, for junior golfers ages 7 to 14. Focus is on teaching the fundamentals of golf with fun games in a group environment.  Junior Tennis/Golf Programs: Children ages 7 to 14 are invited to participate in this popular program that exposes them to both golf and tennis. This summer program runs out of Stoney Creek June through August and is offered from Monday –Thursday. Sign up for the week or just a day and let your children enjoy “fun”damentals in both .  Nike Junior Golf Camps: US Camps and Wintergreen Resort have teamed up to present the Nike Junior Golf camps. Camp offerings are held each summer for the junior golfer who is either a beginner or a tournament player. Session options include a weeklong overnight camp, an extended day camp or a day camp. Wintergreen Nature Foundation: Located at the Trillium House at Wintergreen Resort, the Wintergreen Nature Foundation is a non-profit organization that encourages the understanding, appreciation and conservation of the natural resources of Central Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The foundation functions as a research and education facility and serves as a host site for conservation efforts, www.twnf.org.

Wintergreen Performing Arts: Wintergreen Performing Arts is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Wintergreen and Central Virginia residents and visitors.
