#becauseofCLD January 2020 Community Learning and Development in Dundee Keep Fit and Healthy with our Walking Groups The Community Health Team have several walks across the city. The walks are popular and are attended by people of all ages. The walks last between 30 and 60 minutes and are followed by a cup of tea/coffee and refreshments. Due to the popularity of the walks it was necessary to recruit more volunteers to help them run smoothly. On Tuesday 3rd December 2019 five people attended Walk Leader training and gained their certificate. Congratulations to June Thomson, Mary Guthrie, Frank Mitchell, Ann Murray and Lindsey Eppy. Two of our volunteers were also presented with their Heartstart Certificates. Congratulations to Fraser Carmichael and Sylvia Anderson. Having these volunteers ensures that the walks can continue and thrive. Find your local walk in the activity listings in this newsletter. If you would like more information about the walks contact Alison Connor, Community Health Worker on 01382 435837 or 07985 876805. All activities are free unless stated otherwise. @IYNStrathmartine @IYNNorthEast All venues are accessible wherever possible.
