KEY WEST The Stoned Crab

EVERYBODY MUST GET STONED. i About the Restaurant There is nothing like The Stoned Crab in Key West. Colorful bayside atmosphere paired with what visitors want to eat when they take an island vacation: FRESH LOCAL SEAFOOD. Not only is it what visitors want, it’s what locals appreciate. This is a restaurant that supports local commercial fishermen by purchasing directly from them through the Three Hands Fish Market located adjacent to The Stoned Crab on the same resort grounds of Ibis Bay. Their impeccably fresh and succulent namesake menu item, stone crab, is available warm or chilled. And if you’ve never had hot steamed stone crab, you’re missing out. Guests are also wowed by the Seafood Towers that arrive at their tables upon request… tiers of mixed seafood items ranging from raw oysters on the half shell to calamari to crab are perfect for sharing. The Stoned Crab swears by and carries out the concept of “dock to dish” and it’s seafood is Certified Local. Owner Chris Holland is proud to implement this key principal which not only benefits the local fishing industry but also provides the absolute best quality seafood to his customers. hFeatured Dish SEAFOOD PAELLA FOR TWO OR FOUR Includes shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, smoked Spanish sausage and chicken. Requires 30 minutes.

A LOCAL’S REVIEW... SHARK FEEDING DAILY on the restaurant dock As a Concierge Manager for Key West Concierge, I get invited to many different restaurants and it at 1:00pm, 5:00pm & 8:00pm takes a lot to surprise me. Last Tuesday myself and my team were invited to dine at the Stoned Crab. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The food was excellent and fresh. Chris, the owner, was a charming and informative host. He told us about their fresh catch to table approach and it was evident in the lobster, stoned crab, snapper and shrimp we were served. This was accompanied by corn on the cob, potato and a variety of veggies. Chris took our group over to the shark feeding spot where their resident nurse sharks are fed 5 times a day. This was such a treat to see them up close and used to the human interaction. I would gladly recommend this restaurant and shark feeding experience to anyone looking for fresh seafood and an experience they won’t forget. i Lorraine Jacobs Concierge Manager at Key West Concierge
