STRADIVARIUS LIKELY FOR CHAMPIONS DAY WELL HELLO! Trainer John Gosden reports Bjorn Nielsen=s champion Stradivarius (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) to be Ain tremendous form@ two weeks removed from the 5-year-old=s win in the G2 Lonsdale Cup at York which earned him a second consecutive ,1-million Weatherbys Hamilton Stayers= Million Bonus. AHe is bucking and playing away and having a shout which he likes to do,@ Gosden said. "He always lets you know when he is around. For a little guy he makes a lot of noise." Stradivarius holds an entry in Friday=s G2 Doncaster Cup, and is likely to defend his title in the G2 British Champions Long Distance Cup Oct. 19. "I would think that Champions Day is quite likely,@ the trainer said. "If we got a lot of rain and it did go heavy, that would be the one thing that would probably stop us running.@ Gosden continued, AHe has got a great action and he is probably Hello Youmzain (Fr) besting The Tin Man (GB) | Racing Post happiest on top of the ground. He handled the good to soft and softish ground, but I would be worried about heavy ground.@ In Freshened up after finishing third behind (GB) terms of a potential 6-year-old campaign for the entire, Gosden (Showcasing {GB}) in the G1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot said. "It is very much up to Mr. Nielsen whether he wants to June 21, Jaber Abdullah=s Hello Youmzain (Fr) (Kodiac {GB}) keep him in training next year and I will leave that entirely to made the most of that contemporary=s absence in Saturday=s him. The horse is vociferous to let us know what he thinks." G1 Betfair Sprint Cup to register an early career pinnacle at Haydock. Becoming the fifth 3-year-old to prevail in this all-aged test since 2014, the 9-2 co-favourite carted James Doyle past Invincible Army (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) and to the front after the first furlong and kept finding to prevail by a half length from last year=s winner The Tin Man (GB) (Equiano {Fr}). Trainer Kevin Ryan was reaping the reward for waiting with the homebred who was having only his seventh start here. AWe decided after Ascot that we=d be patient with him, as it=s not all about this year,@ he explained. AHe=s such a young horse and a big horse as well. You shouldn=t wish your life away, but he=s going to mature and he=ll be a stronger horse next year. He=s very exciting.@ Hello Youmzain was one of only three rivals put up against Calyx (GB) (Kingman {GB}) in the May 25 G2 Sandy Lane S. over this course and distance and while it is public knowledge that his rival suffered an injury during that race, his 3 1/4-length defeat Stradivarius | Racing Post of that Juddmonte star can now be seen in a different light. He had already garnered the G2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte over IN TDN AMERICA TODAY this trip in October and been fourth over seven furlongs in the SPANISH MISSION BEST IN JOCKEY CLUB DERBY G3 Greenham S. on his 2019 bow at Newbury Apr. 13, so the European invader Spanish Mission gets his nose down in portents were strong that he was potentially top-class. Youmzain wins Sprint Cup, Cont. from p1 The third in the Sandy Lane, the filly Royal Intervention (Ire) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), came on to beat Waldpfad (Ger) () in the G2 Goldene Peitsche and with that German challenger running 2 1/2-lengths third in this contest there is a convincing line of form to add substance to his win. AThese horses don=t come around very often and although we gave him a tentative entry in the Nunthorpe, this race was always the plan,@ added Ryan, who also saddled the fourth- placed Brando (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) and Major Jumbo (GB) (Zebedee {GB}) who was seventh. AHe=ll have one more run this year on Champions Day at Ascot and then we=ll put him away for next season. I wouldn=t rule out bringing him back to five furlongs at some stage. He showed today he has loads of pace-- Major Jumbo is not a slow horse and he had him off the steel within a furlong.@ Ryan also had news on Brando, reporting that last year=s runner-up had bled during the race. AHe has done it before and he did it here,@ he said. AHe travelled into the race great, so it=s unfortunate.@ The Tin Man=s trainer James Fanshawe is looking at a rematch with the winner in the G1 Qipco British Champions Sprint at Ascot Oct. 19. AFirst of all, the team has done a fantastic job to get him back. After his last run at Newbury, I thought that might be the end of him as he was a bit stiff behind and he is seven,@ he said. AEveryone has been working hard to get him back to top form. With the performances this year, you can never be that confident but I knew he was in good shape going into the race. I=m really pleased with him, he=s run very well and I hope we can have him in the same form for Ascot.@ The unraced dam Spasha (GB) (Shamardal) has also produced the Listed Lansdown Fillies S. winner Zuhoor Baynoona (Ire) (Elnadim), the Listed Prix Maurice Caillault third Saglawy (Fr) (Youmzain {Ire}) and the G2 Gran Criterium, G3 Bavarian Classic and G3 Ittlingen Derby Trial winner and G1 Deutsches Derby third Royal Youmzain (Fr) (Youmzain {Ire}). A half-sister to the Listed Hampton Court S. winner and G2 Hardwicke S. third Persian Majesty (Ire) (Grand Lodge), she hails from Lord Howard de Walden=s family of (GB), with her third dam being that renowned Derby hero=s half-sister Sandy Island (GB) (). Her countless notable descendants include Summer Passage (Aus) (Snitzel {Aus}), who was successful in the G1 Sistema S. Zuhoor Baynoona was incorporated into the considerable Cheveley Park broodmare band when purchased for 560,000gns at the 2017 Tattersalls December Mares Sale, another wily acquisition by the shrewd David and Patricia Thompson. ROYAL LINE COMES OF AGE IN THE SEPTEMBER Patiently-handled by John Gosden so far, Sheikha Al Jalila Racing=s Royal Line (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) provided the benefit of that policy when taking Kempton=s G3 September S. on Saturday. Royal Line Comes of Age cont. Havlin was not surprised with the outcome, revealing that he has long been highly-regarded at Clarehaven. Totally Boss | Coady

The >now= horse in Saturday=s GIII Runhappy Turf Sprint S. at Kentucky Downs, Totally Boss wore down longshot Smart Remark in the final sixteenth of a mile to earn an all-expenses- paid trip to Santa Anita for the GI Breeders= Cup Turf Sprint Nov. 2. Drawn widest in the field of 10, the well-backed 4-year-old hit the ground running and was slipped a bit of rein to stalk what appeared to be a strong pace outside of Smart Remark. Held together down the side and approaching the quarter pole by Florent Geroux, Totally Boss responded when set down inside the final furlong and was doing his best work through the line to claw past the front-runner. Stablemate Leinster, big-figure winner of the GIII Troy S. at Saratoga when last seen Aug. 3, was up for third, while Imprimis (Broken Vow), a latest sixth in the G1 King=s Stand S. at Royal Ascot, sat a good trip behind the speed, but could not summon the necessary finish and was forced to settle for fourth in an effort he can certainly build upon. AHe was loaded today,@ Geroux said. AHe broke sharp. Actually, to be honest, there was not a lot of speed in the race. When he broke sharp, I just took it from there. He put me closer to normal, but he was traveling great. And when I asked him turning for home, he gave me his usual kick. He=s a nice horse, and I think Rusty has him near the top of his form right now.@

Ms Bad Behavior | Coady

Ms Bad Behavior made a habit of finishing second during the second half of last season and into the beginning of this term, completing the exacta in four straight stakes. Her most recent runner-up effort came behind the West Coast=s top turf distaffer Vasilika (Skipshot) in the GIII Megahertz S. at Santa Anita. Third behind that rival in the GII Buena Vista S. in Arcadia Feb. 23, she was pulled up last time after bearing out in the GII Royal Heroine S. Apr. 6, also won by Vasilika. Ms Bad Behavior got over her seconditis Saturday with a win in the GIII Three Chimneys Ladies Turf S. at Kentucky Downs. Away alertly from the nine hole, the dark bay seized the early advantage and maintained a solid lead over favored Mitchell Road all the way around. Ms Bad Behavior still had plenty left in the lane and skipped home a never-threatened winner. AI tapped her on the shoulder right out of the gate and she got going pretty quickly,@ said winning pilot Jose Ortiz. AAnd then when we got to the top of the hill, she put the ears up and was very relaxed going down the hill. I just let her be her, let her get comfortable. And when I asked her to go by the three- sixteenths, she just rebroke.@ AWe=ve always been trying to get her to that next level because it seemed like she=d always get caught and run second, or she=d hit the board but get there a little late in that last part,@ said Aimee Dollase, assistant to Richard Baltas. ABut she came back great and has been training lights out. She=s a good filly with a lot of heart and class and it showed today.@
