Ag funding U.S. Representative Henry Bonilla an- nounced early this week that the Congress has come to an agreement on the Agricul- ture Appropriations Bill. The legislation was overwhelming approved today by the House of Representatives, where the bill originated in Mr. Bonilla’s subcommittee. The 2002 Agriculture Appropriations Bill funded $75.902 billion, which will include fund- ing increases for the Food Safety and In- spection Service, Child Nutrition Programs, Food Stamp Program and Food for Peace Program. It also includes increases for the Farm Service Agency, Agricultural Credit Programs; conservation operations; and the Agricultural Research Service.
