I-75 Ramp and Service Drive Closures

GORDIE HOWE INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE I-75 RAMP AND SERVICE DRIVE CLOSURES

As construction of the Michigan Interchange continues, Bridging North America will close several ramps and the northbound and southbound I-75 Service Drives between Dragoon Street and Clark Street. Junction Street will remain open to through traffic. This closure is required to support the construction of siphon work. DETAILS: Beginning March 25, 2021, the following long-term closures will be implemented: • The Clark Street ramps to north and southbound I-75 will be closed • The Livernois Avenue ramps to north and southbound I-75 will be closed • I-75 Service Drive in both directions will close between Clark Street and Dragoon Street until June 15, 2022. Junction Street will remain open to through traffic.

DETOURS: Clark Street cont. Livernois Avenue Southbound Clark motorists heading to southbound I-75 freeway will be detoured west on Southbound Livernois traffic heading to Fort Street will be detoured to southbound I-75 Vernor Highway, south on Junction Street, then to southbound I-75 Service Drive and Service Drive, south on Waterman Street and then to northbound I-75 Service Drive or Fort Livernois on-ramp. Grand Boulevard, west on Fort Street, south Street, west on southbound I-75 Service Drive, then to southbound I-75 Service Drive and on Green Street, west on Jefferson Avenue, north on Dearborn Street then take Dearborn Livernois on-ramp. on-ramp to southbound I-75. Clark Street Springwells Street Northbound motorists on Clark Street heading to southbound Clark Street will be detoured Southbound Springwells Street heading to northbound I-75 FWY will be detoured east to east on northbound I-75 and Clark on-ramp, travel on northbound I-75, take northbound I-75 Lafayette Boulevard, south on Green Street, east on M-85, north on Clark Street, then to exit ramp to Vernor Highway, west on Vernor Highway, then to Clark Street. northbound I-75 and Clark Street on-ramp.
