A quick meeting to discuss on housing reconstruction progress of Ward no 3, Jhaukhel area, Changunarayan Municipality, Bhaktapur district was conducted at ward office of Ward no 3, Jhaukhel. Ward Office has successfully managed to inform and sensitize beneficiaries on 2nd tranche deadline of NRA. Along with this, with deployment of Social Mobilisers, Ward office has also successfully tracked the most intending vulnerable beneficiaries who wants to reconstruct the house. So far the coordination by SM has successfully managed to mobilise Mobile Masons to reconstruct house for 2 vulnerable beneficiaries. In the meantime, Ward office lobbied with local brick producers to contribute nearly 1000 number of bricks to housing reconstruction for those intending beneficiaries.

Brief meeting was attended by team members from HRRP, along with Ward Chief, Ward Member and SM.

Decisions Made: (What, Why, Impacts) • The Ward office continue to mobilise SM for reconstruction of houses of those beneficiaries that needs technical support. • Ward office will continue their support to beneficiaries to sensitise and inform for tranche deadlines. • Ward officer will continue to facilitate, follow up and trigger beneficiaries for progresses in housing reconstruction in upcoming months.
