Item/Description Discussion Action Welcome C. Duncan welcomed everyone to the meeting and highlighted aspects of the work of the group including:

 Priorities  Neighbourhoods  Presentations  Sub-group  Budget  Service delivery  Aims and objectives of the group

C. Duncan asked members to consider what the key 5 or 6 priorities for the locality would be and how different neighbourhoods may have different priorities. It was also noted that the terms of reference would help shape the action plan for the locality and the group’s contribution to the Strategic Plan.

Apologies B. McQuillan informed the meeting that 10 apologies had been received. Action note of Accuracy: previous meeting on The action note was agreed as accurate. 11th February 2016 Matters Arising: Locality Profiling L. Reid agreed to Information meeting forward the report to B. L. Reid informed the members that a McQuillan when it was meeting that the report was due to be available. completed next week. Input – Shona Hynd – S. Hynd provided the group with Ayrshire Hospice information from a presentation regarding Services provided.

C. Duncan thanked S. Hynd and B. McQuillan to email commented that it was good to have presentation to all such an inspiring institution in the locality members of the group. and asked members to think about what the group could do to raise awareness of the role of Ayrshire Hospice. Priorities C. Duncan asked members to consider the priorities in the handout and consider how they might be ordered.

B. McQuillan suggested that each priority could be taken one at a time and made the main focus of future meetings.

B. McQuillan highlighted that the group had taken a similar approach to the issue of Social Isolation at the previous meeting.

After discussion regard different C. It was noted that there were strong links to social isolation.

B. McQuillan to contact groups to advise them of the group’s decision and to arrange payment.

C. Duncan informed members that the B. McQuillan to distribute proposal should be distributed to all report to all members for members. comment.

Participatory Budgeting: B. McQuillan informed members that in the next financial year small grants fund of £5000 could be match funded with up to £5000 of funding for participatory budgeting from the Scottish Government.

B. McQuillan suggested to members that B. McQuillan agreed to the sub-group could be tasked with contact members an producing a proposal regarding invite them to the participatory budgeting. It was noted that meeting. the next meeting of the sub-group would take place on Monday 21 March 16 at 3pm, John Pollock Centre.
