Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 : Sunday / Arrival Delhi

Arrive Delhi airport, meet & assist by our representative. Later transfer to hotel (standard check-in time 14:00 hrs).

Night stay in Delhi.

DAY 2 : Monday / Delhi - Agra

07:00 hrs: pick up from your hotel and transfer to Safdarjung Railway station.

08:00 hrs: Assemble at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station. Traditional Welcome and check-in to your respective coaches.

09:00 hrs: Departure of the train to Agra.

12:30 hrs: Lunch on board.

13:45 hrs: Arrive Agra Cantt. Railway Station. Disembark the train and proceed for sightseeing of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Taj Mahal - one of the Seven wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife.

Later visit Agra fort.

Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

19:00 hrs: Return back to train at Idgah railway station (In Agra). Dinner onboard.

20:45 hrs: Departure from Agra to Jaipur. Overnight in train.

DAY 3 : Tuesday / Arrive Jaipur - Jodhpur

05:00 hrs: Arrive at Durgapura Railway Station (Jaipur). Breakfast Onboard.

07:00 hrs: Disembark the train and assemble for boarding the Coaches for sightseeing of Amber Fort and City Palace.

Jaipur the fabled “pink city” of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments.

Sightseeing start from Amer fort.

Amer fort Palace - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started in 1592, its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

City Palace - Among all other several forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands with its wonderful art and architecture. City Palace spans a huge area that is separated into a sequence of gardens, courtyards and buildings. Originally, the outer wall was built by Raja Jai Singh occupying a huge area. Later on, some modifications were made into grand buildings by the succeeding rulers.

12:00 hrs: Check in at hotel for day use rooms and Lunch.

Optional visit Observatory, the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

17:00 hrs: Proceed to Chokhi Dhani for dinner.

21:00 hrs: Return to Train at Kanakpura Railway Station (Jaipur).

23:00 hrs: Departure for Jodhpur. Overnight stay on board.

DAY 4 : Wednesday / Arrive Jodhpur - Jaisalmer

07:00 hrs: Arrive at Bhagat Ki Kothi Railway Station (Jodhpur). Breakfast Onboard.

08:00 hrs: Disembark the train and assemble for boarding the coaches for Sightseeing of Mehrangargh Fort and Jaswant Thada.

Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in Jodhpur that is popular all over the world. With its unique architecture, this tomb has gained lots of prominence from the visitors. It depicts the royal structure of bygone era which holds power to draws the attention of the tourists.

Jaswant Thanda- Jaswant Thada is the Rajasthan’s best royal monument built in 1899 in the reign of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, who was the 33rd king of Jodhpur. The son of Maharaja Jaswant Singh named as Maharaja Sardar Singh was built it. In the cenotaph, one can find many portraits and photographs of other kings of Jodhpur.

12:00 hrs: Lunch at a hotel.

15:00 hrs: Proceed for sightseeing of Clock Tower and visit to local market.

19:30 hrs: Return to Train at Bhagat Ki Kothi Railway Station (Jodhpur).

20:30 hrs: Departure for Jaisalmer. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

DAY 5 : Thursday / Arrive Jaisalmer - Delhi

05:30 hrs: Arrive at Jaisalmer Railway Station. Breakfast Onboard.

07:30 hrs: Disembark the train and assemble for boarding the coaches for sightseeing of Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisagar Lake and Patwon ki Haveli.

Jaisalmer Fort, over the Trikuta hill, this fort is the biggest and the most beautiful landmark of the city. The fort is occupied by shops, stalls, and a number of other business concerns. It is also known as Sonar Quila or the Golden fort, rising from the sand, the mega structure merges with the golden hues of the desert ambience. The Jain temple, situated inside the fort, made between 12th and 15th century, bears testimony to Rajasthan unique artistry Visit the havelis; the mansions built by the wealthy merchants, which are still in very good condition. The intricate craftsmanship is beyond parallel.

Gadi Sagar Lake originally was a man-made reservoir that was founded to provide a source of water to the people of Jaisalmer. Founded in 1367 by the first ruler of the city Maharawal Jaisal, this reservoir was revamped by Maharawal Garsi Singh. The banks of the Lake consist of shrines, temples, ghats and Chattris. Placed southwards of the city, this Lake has an entry archway in yellow sandstone, Telia-Pol, which was made by Telia, a royal courtesan. One can indulge in boat riding here or simply enjoy a leisure walk. The Jaisalmer fort in the backdrop, offers an amazing view. This Lake is largely visited during the yearly celebrations of Gangaur festival.

Patwon-ki-Haveli, remarkable for their exclusive cutwork, yellow and red stone treatment and the bracket-shaped decoration of peacocks. The rich merchant inspired by the classic style of the royals, constructed huge mansions (havelis) adjacent to each other in the nature of medieval culture and profusely decorated walls and ceilings and intricately carved outdoors and interiors.

15:30 hrs: Proceed for Sam Sand Dunes for dinner with cultural dances. Optional Alcoholic Beverages and Drinks.

22:00 hrs: Return to Train at Jaisalmer Railway Station.

23:00 hrs: Departure for Delhi. Overnight stay on board.

DAY 6 : Friday / Arrive Delhi

07:00 hrs: Breakfast on board.

12:00 hrs: Onboard lunch.

15:00 hrs: Arrival at Delhi Safarjung railway station.

15:30 hrs: Pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel.

Dinner at the hotel. Night stay at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 7 : Saturday / Delhi sightseeing and departure

09:00 hrs: Pick up from hotel and proceed to Delhi sightseeing. Visit Old and New Delhi.

10:30 hrs. OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.

You will enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk. More evidences of the ancient times that once existed in old Delhi can be found out by winding through the labyrinthine lanes of Chandni Chowk in a rickshaw. The pleasure associated with the rickshaw ride your itinerary here is ultimate. The rickshaw pullers here take you on a ride through various routes, offering you a different experience all together.

13:00 hrs: Lunch at restaurant.

14:30 hrs: Start sightseeing to New Delhi. An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Bangla Sahib spiritual place for Sikh religious, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, and the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

16:30 hrs: After sightseeing drive to airport.

17:30 hrs. Transfer to airport to board your onward flight to back home.
