Panhellenic sorority members signed the Code of Ethics this Tuesday, begin- ning the school year with a promise to respect recruitment rules established for behavior between potential new mem- bers and other sorority women of the Greek community. Among other rules, the code estab- lishes each member’s responsibility to promote positive interactions between Greek organizations, refrain from awk- ward contact with students considering a sorority and avoid drawing negative at- tention to Greek life on campus. Kristin Shorter, Director of Greek Life, explained that the purpose of the code is to remind sorority members of the rules in a positive, instructive manner.
