Deta still leads the individual table with a 27.83. The tons table has Deta also at the top with 54, followed by Tricia Wright of West Ham with 44 and Mandy Solomons with 41 .Eleven girls have hit a maximum this season, but so far all have hit it only once. Amelia Stocker of Brentford still tops the highest finish with a game shot of 140. The latest county rankings table shows Tricia Wright still top with 24 points, with Sharon Colclough of Waltham Forest and Lynne Ormond of Aldgate joint second with 21 points followed by Joanne Haynes of Haringey with 12 points. Finally, congratulations to June Myers of Waltham Forest on reaching the last sixteen of the British open and to Apylee Jones of Haringey, and a member of the very successful London youth team, who reached the last eight before losing to eventual champion Sandra Greatbatch. Keith Nightingale Ladies League Secretary Talking Point LONDON LINES Visiting Team I hope you all had a great Christmas and are now gradually readjusting to life in the MEN LADIES slow lane once more. On behalf of the executive committee may I extend our wish for a successful 1992 to all of you. As far as the London county teams are Robert Anderson Carole Appleby concerned, we could not have wished for a more successful end to 1991. With all Colin Bamford Donna Apsey four teams on the winning trail once more against Northumberland, our unbeaten Darren Barnes Sylvia Bolden 'A' and' B' team run has now been stretched to 18 games. I think it is fair to offer our Melcon Barrett Eileen Butcher congratulations to Steve McHale and Dave Whitcombe for their winning London John Burbidge Jenny Fenton debuts in the 'B' and 'A' teams respectively. Dave's in particular was a real classic Robbie Blake Lesley Harber against Jocky Wilson. This weekend we face a stiff challenge from our friends from Roy Brown Rhoda Harby Hampshire and I would liketo extend a warm welcometo their players, officials and Paul Clarkson Sue Mould supporters. Although you may have thought that we have seen off the challenge Mick Collins Karen Reynolds of some of the top counties, I can assure you the road to the championship, for both Mick Cookman Debby Scanlan the men and ladies, will not become any easier beginning with today's matches Arthur Danahar Carole Shinar against Hampshire. Having said that, I do not think anyone involved with London Gordon Davidson Mandy Solomons can have been anything but totally impressed with the commitment shown by all Martyn Dunford ZenaWhitehorn of our players this season. Well done to one and all. This weekend sees a Dave Fowler DeeWhitworth welcome return to the T L and R Club and I would like to thank Jerry Lerman and Graham Hardy his staff for makingthis possible. It is a great spectator venue but unfortunately not Darren Hogg Team Manager Brenda Cummings so conducive when young children are allowed to run about, as they did last time Andy Jenkins we were here. I trust all parents with young children will bear this in mind this Graham Jones weekend. Finally, I'm sure you would like to join me in congragulating Graham Dave Medley Miller on his achievement in reaching the last 8 of the Embassy World Pro, a Dave Mellish position which guarantees him entry to the event next year. Well done Skipper we Colin Monk are all very proud of you. It seems if you are a dart player you are given a nickname even if this is just a shortened version of your name for example Raymond van Barneveld’s nickname is ‘Barney’ or extended to 'Barney Rubble' from the Flintstones. Raymond sometimes wears a gold Barney Rubble medallion around his neck for good luck! Some nicknames are also based on a professional trade, such as ‘Sparky’, a name given to an electrician and also a nickname used by Wesley Harms and Ricco Vonck. While others can have more of a meaning based upon events such as ‘Jackpot’ used by the two time World Darts Champions, Adrian Lewis. So how did he get his nickname? While competing in the Las Vegas Desert Classic in 2005, Adrian had a go on the slot machines.
