Day 1: USA/Canada - Bangkok Mon, March 19 AM (early) Depart to Bangkok by EVA Airways or similar (Flight - TBA) (Note: All delegates need to check in at the night of Sun, March 18) En Route

Day 2: Bangkok Tue, March 20

AM Arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) (Note: TAT will coordinate with TCEB for speedy track immigration process, if possible)

Welcome greeting and transfer to Anantara Siam or similar

At Leisure (after the long flight)

PM Enjoy welcome dinner with TAT executives at the hotel

Overnight in Bangkok

Day 3: Bangkok Wed, March 21

AM Transfer to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, on the way, we will visit the crazy umbrella pulldown market (Maeklong Railway). Enjoy your time at the most popular floating markets in Thailand where many Thai and foreign tourists visit everyday to shop, eat, and experience Thai ways of life along the canal.

Lunch en route and return to the hotel for leisure & refresh 18.00 – 21.00 Experience Bangkok Food Tour. Start the program by riding on Tuk Tuk to enjoy Thai taste of famous street food along the local restaurant & Bangkok China Town. Visit the flower market and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha at night when they are beautifully lighted up. End of the journey by enjoying drinks at the bar with stunning view of the Temple of Dawn as the background.

Day 4: Bangkok – Chiang Rai Thu, March 22 Venue: TBA

08.30 – 14.00 Trade event program - Thai suppliers registration - Presentation and/or panel discussions by the members of USTOA Suggested topics: - 2018 USA & Canada Market Scenarios (briefing activities) - Discussion panel: An understanding on the US and Canada market for the Thai counterparts

- Trade meet (USTOA delegates sit and Thai Suppliers walk) Lunch (hosted by TCEB - TBC) Then pack and transfer to Bangkok Airport

14.30 Transfer to Suvarnabhumi Airport 17.10 Depart Bangkok for Chiang Rai by PG#235 18.30 Arrival Chiang Rai and transfer to the hotel

Day 5: Chiang Rai Fri, March 23

AM USTOA Out of Country Meeting

Late Morning Transfer to board on the boat for cruising along Maekong River to experience Golden Triangle (three countries; , and Thailand)

Visiting the renowned Golden Triangle is a must to complete the trip to Chiang Rai province. This is the famous location where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet in the middle of the River. The Golden Triangle was formerly known as the world’s major producer of opium, which was later improved thanks to the works of the Royal Projects.

PM Visit Chiang Saen ~ the ancient city around 2,000 year ago

Discover Chiang Sean, a hidden ancient city located among the convergence of Thailand, Burma and Laos and sat next to the beautiful and peaceful Mekhong River. Learn the history through the impressive stuccos, craftwork and Buddha images which the characters and techniques are influenced from Lanka, Sukhothai and Ayutthaya arts. En route, visit Village (if time permits)

Overnight in Chiang Rai

Day 6: Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai Sat, March 24 08.00 Transfer to Chiang Mai by coach (3 hours drive) Visit Chui Fong Tea Plantation well-known for the highest quality traditional teas cultivated in its own gardens in Chiang Rai. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the plantation, experience the tea production and taste Chui Fong tea.

En route, visit White Temple (if time permits). White Temple is regarded as one of the most beautiful temples built in this century. A masterpiece of artist Chaloemchai Kositpipat, famed for his extravagant and unique Buddhism-related paintings, White Temple reflects the artist’s grand visions of heaven, hell and Nirvana. The main assembly hall and adjacent area are carved in white with glass mosaics.

Transfers to the Anantara Chiang Mai or similar.

Evening Join the Lanna Networking Dinner Reception with Thai performances (Venue: TBA) Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 7: Chiang Mai Sun, March 25

AM Option: Alm-giving for the line of Monks and Doi Suthep ~ A new way of experiencing this Chiang Mai icon and opening yourself to the new shades of Thailand. Experience early morning of alm-giving to buddhist monks at the base of Doi Suthep mountain and then up to the temple to ascend up to 309 steps to catch the beautiful morning panoramic view of Chiang Mai.

09:00 Transfer to Lumpang - Hidden Treasure of Lanna Treasure

10:00 Visit Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum to experience the ancient dragon kiln, the process of producing traditional chicken bowl of Lampang. DIY: Make your own chicken bowl from turning clay to hand painting of a bowl and bring it back home!

Lunch hosted by TAT Lampang

PM Lampang tour by horse-drawn carriage. Experience “Muang Rot Ma” or Horse Carriage City where you can still find horse-drawn carriages in regular use for transportation. Visit local temples including Pong Sanook awarded for the Award of Merit in 2008 by UNESCO. En route, try traditional Lampang snacks. Evening Return to Chiang Mai for dinner and Chiang Mai Night Market. Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 8: Chiang Mai – Bangkok Mon, March 26

AM Hands on activities (25 guests each) Option 1: Farm to Table Cooking Class (Venue TBA)

Option 2: Indigo Workshop at Studio Naenna Have a fun time with hand-on Indigo Workshop. The studio supports weaver for the environment in the production of exquisite and eco-friendly garment, accessories and textiles.

14.40 Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport 16.00 Depart Chiang Mai by Bangkok Airways PG#907 Arrival Bangkok and transfer to Anantara Riverside or similar

Farewell dinner (TBA) Overnight in Bangkok

Day 9: Bangkok – USA/Canada Tue, March 27 Return home or extended stay (TAT can assist for the extended program preparation)
