Project Por Amor is organizing an exclusive delegation for professional American filmmakers to travel to Havana for five intensive days of film, music, contemporary art, cuisine, and interaction with Havana’s leading artists and thinkers. Become part of the historic era of engagement with by joining this insider’s visit to our charismatic neighbors. Dear Filmmakers, ///////////////////////

Project Por Amor is excited to invite you on our exclusive insider’s delegation to Havana’s bustling world of arts and cinema. At what is historically considered to be the most important lm festival in , Havana comes alive as locals and foreigners pack their vintage theaters to see the latest in cinema. e trip is designed to go beyond lmmaking to give a taste of Cuban innovation and creativity. As Managing Director of Project Por Amor, a previous presenter at this festival, a composer for independent American lm, and an award-winning expert on the Cuban arts, I have a unique position to curate a personal weekend of concerts, lm screenings, panels, studio visits, cuisine, and discussion to interact directly with the stars of contemporary Cuban culture. With the recent opening of Cuba’s borders, a new wave of US productions is setting up in the Caribbean time capsule including “Fast and the Furious 8” and Showtime’s “House of Lies.” After 57 years of isolation between our countries, this delegation will give a new introduction. to Cuba’s passionate and changing lmmaking community before it becomes commercialized and ooded with Americans. You won’t want to miss out on this historic and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. is delegation is for professionals working in lm, TV, or interactive media so you will also get the opportunity to meet interesting artists from the US. Your close friends and family are welcome to join you. We have reserved rooms at the classiest hotel in the Carribean Basin, the Hotel Nacio- nal, which is also the headquarters of the Film Festival. Here we will be centrally located to easily get around and be in the middle of the action. We hope you can join us.
