Record-Setting Effort by Ganz Leads Nebraska to Easy Win over Kansas State Joe Ganz produced one of the best individual offensive performances in school history to lead a high-powered Nebraska offense to more than 700 total yards in a 73-31 victory over Kansas State in the 2007 home finale. Playing in front of a HUSKERS.COM Senior Day crowd of 84,665 fans, Ganz shattered both Nebraska’s single-game total offense (528 yards) and single-game passing records (510 yards), while adding a school record for the most touchdown passes thrown in a game with seven. The junior quarterback from Palos Heights, Ill., completed 30-of-40 passes and did not throw an interception in his second career start.
