Clywedog Valley, Plas Power and 9a

This is one of a series of Local Small wooded valley from to , providing woodland walks with Planning Guidance Notes based on industrial archaeology and nature conservation interest, historically linked to Plas Wrexham LANDMAP (adopted Power estate and Bersham iron works November 2004), setting out recommendations for each Landscape context Landscape Character area This is one of several minor river valleys which are well wooded, with features showing former industrial uses. Adjacent farmed and wooded estate countryside is also included in this character area. The other valleys of this type are the valley (9b), Ffrith Valley (9c) and Dee Valley - to Newbridge (9d)
