10/14/2015 Provision of training to Rita Conners VP Business Affairs Attended webinar "the care and feeding of the broadcasters public inspection file" Management Staff presented by David Oxenford. We focused on the public file and each folder what why and how.
11/24/2015 Provision of training to On Nov 4th 2015 Rita Conners VP Business Affairs and Jed Burns Director of Digital Media attended "The Speed of Management Staff Trust" Presented by Stephen Covey at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Presentation was about building relationship trust, at home, at work and with ones self. What is the pay off for ones trust, integrity, intent, capabilities and results were all highlighted. 05/24/2016 Participation in WAB The Radio Stations of Legend participated in the WAB Scholarship program. Each year the Wyoming Association of Scholarship Program Broadcasters offers up to five $1,000 general scholarships (at the discretion of the judging committee) for students in a broadcast related field. Applicants must attend a Wyoming Community College or University, be full-time, have a GPA of at least 2.5, exhibit superior potential in studies or activities related to a broadcast related field. Second Scholarship is for current high school graduation seniors who are children of full time employees at WAB member stations. *A high school senior, who upon graduation will attend any post secondary institution (vo-tech, two- year community college, four-year college or university / Private or public; in state or out-of-state) *Major or field of study is not a determining factor. *Station General Manager must certify that applicant is a child of a full-time station employee (in continuous full time employment at least since last June 1st).
