SINCE 1897 $1.00 (in NYC) $1.50 (outside city) NEW YORK’S FINEST DAILY NEWSPAPER NOBEL, NO PROBLEM: ARTIST AWARDS NOBEL PRIZE FOR COMIC BOOK ART TO SELF. INSIDE: BOOMER-ACK! COMIC BOOK WRITER KILLED BY DERANGED FAN COSPLAYING AS BOOMERANG. GOODBYE, FAREWELL AND GOOD RIDDANCE

With the rocktacular cybernetic head of Maggia don Silvermane in their possession, it looked like the Sinister Six (really, Five) was finally going to start getting the respect (they thought) they deserved. But not so shockingly, their natures got the best of them and it turned out that they had all double-crossed each other and sold the head to different rival gangs. Although they gave their best shot at peaceful conflict resolution, it was all for naught and many faces were punched. Boomerang seemed to get the worst of it, that is, until it was revealed that, using Chameleon serum to disguise his face, not only did Fred swap a semi-conscious Mach VII into his place to take a beating, Fred kidnapped rookie pitching sensation Demang Pendak and then took to the mound as Pendak! What a jerk!

HERMAN DOESN’T LIVE HERE ANYMORE Embarrassed and buried by his “friends,” the Shocker looked as though he was going to die alone in a hole in the ground...until Hydro-Man tracked him down and pressure-washed him straight out of the grave! And since no good deed goes unshocked, the Shocker quickly blasted Hydro-Man and stormed off to “thank” his “friends” for “burying him alive.” NICK STEVE RACHELLE VC’s CLAYTON STEVE LIEBER & SPENCER LIEBER ROSENBERG COWLES RACHELLE ROSENBERG WRITER ARTIST COLOR ARTIST LETTERER COVER ARTISTS JON MOISAN LAUREN SANKOVITCH AXEL ALONSO DAN BUCKLEY ALAN FINE ASST.
