FOR YOUR PRAYERS THIS WEEK

 Our Bishops, Archdeacon Andy and the local clergy and their families. Our Readers, Wardens and our PCC.  For all involved in the selection of a new Rector for our benefice  For healing to all those we know who are sick, particularly for Jill’s mother and Revd Liz Moy.  All those mourning the loss of loved ones.  For those to be baptised, particularly for Darcey on Sunday 23rd September, her parents Eddie and Holly, sister Eleanor and family. Also for Ellie and her parents and family as she is baptised on 30th September.  For those to be married in Church on the 21st September along with their families and friends.  Those struggling with financial burdens and lack of food giving thanks for the voluntary organisations that provide food and support to those in need.  For our Junior Christian Clubs in Cullingworth, Harden and Denholme.  For newcomers to Cullingworth and that our church may find ways of making our presence and message known.  Pray for peace within ourselves and those we come into contact with.

Suzy invites you to use this prayer:-

God of Mission who alone brings growth to your Church, Send your Holy Spirit to give Vision to our planning, Wisdom to our actions, and power to our witness. Help our church to grow in numbers, in spiritual commitment to you, and in service to our local community, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Friday 30th Yorkshire’s Small Brass Band November At 7:30pm “LB Brass” will be playing a concert at St John’s, Cullingworth. Tickets are £10 each and the concert will be followed by a cheese and wine party. Tickets are available from St John’s Church,

Keighley Shared Church are asking for our help in praying about, promoting and possibly volunteering at their X:site events encouraging children aged 8 – 11 to make informed decisions about becoming a Christian.

They are hosting a series of Saturday evening sessions which sound great fun, with live music and games.
