RAILWAY MODEL ROOM

Ÿ MITCORER has a well-equipped model room displaying various types of train operating and signaling systems used in Indian Railways.

Ÿ The replica of three types of train and Railway Station are created. Railway modelling uses a variety of scales (ratio between the real world and the model) to ensure scale models look correct when placed next to each other.

Ÿ The scale models include locomotives, rolling stock, tracks, signaling and landscapes including: countryside, roads, bridges, buildings, vehicles, urban landscape, model figures, lights, and features such as rivers, hills, etc.

Ÿ In this model room, various technical information such as Railway Track, Rail Signal System, Rail Bridges, Flyovers, Railway Crossing and Railway Automatic Gate System is available to the students. From this, students are able to understand various manufacturing processes, mechanisms and Railway Standards used in Railways.

Ÿ Also, our students are involved in the creation of informative posters on Railways and Railway Models.
