EDUCATION | K-12 STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AUSTIN DALLAS FORT WORTH HOUSTON www.age-se.com 214.520.7202 Education | K-12 Portfolio Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy Dallas Independent School District Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy is an early college high school tailored to prepare primarily first generation college students for academic success. Along with SHW Group, our firm designed the 110,000-square-foot facility as a series of academic and social spaces centered around a common area to give the facility the feel of a multiple-building campus, similar to a college, while keeping the students in a secure environment. Faculty offices are located in a “perch,” a large, cubic space suspended on the second floor, from which faculty can view the various academic spaces. Upperclassmen are housed on the first floor, allowing for more freedom and unstructured time, while the lower grade levels are on the second floor for a more structured, controlled environment in closer proximity to teachers. Multiple spaces for informal learning are incorporated throughout the building. Prosper High School New High School and Indoor Practice Facility Prosper Independent School District Prosper High School is the modern American High School - Texas style. This project is a $113.5 million, 590,000-square-foot behemoth, complete with a medical tech lab, a restaurant-worthy kitchen, a greenhouse, a broadcast studio, and an indoor football practice facility. Working under tight deadlines, our team completed the new high school along with a new sports arena, indoor practice space, and natatorium. This is the largest project to date for Prosper Independent School District.

Its contents provide the basic structure for the athletic programs in Forney ISD. Situations outside these regulations should be handled with sound reasoning, good judgment, and adherence to the values of honesty and integrity. The athletic program at Forney ISD is voluntary. Students are not obligated to participate, and athletics is not required for graduation. Thus, participation is a privilege and not a right. Athletes are expected to conform to high standards of conduct. The privilege of athletic participation may be revoked if the athlete fails to comply with these standards. Likewise, Forney ISD requests and expects certain standards of sportsmanship and behavior from the parents and fans supporting our programs. These will be communicated by our school district’s coaches and enforced at all school events.

  • Lives on the Line
CECA News Lives on the Line MESSAGE FROM GENERAL MANAGER ALAN LESLEY WE TAKE TIME EVERY YEAR TO THANK the extraordinary line- workers who dedicate their lives to keeping the lights on in our local communities. Comanche Electric Cooperative’s SHAFER DAVE service territory contains 4,929 miles of line, which is main- tained by 20 lineworkers. Without them, our world would be dark. We depend on our entire sta every day to keep your elec- tric co-op running smoothly, but on April 10—National Line- man Appreciation Day—we’re honoring our lineworkers, who regularly place themselves in challenging and often danger- ous situations so that our lives can be brighter and safer every day. These brave men and women repair damaged equipment and maintain critical infrastructure. Without their hard work and commitment to a di cult job, our co-op and our commu- nities would not thrive. No matter the time—day or night, weekday or weekend— and torrential rains, or in freezing, icy conditions. Linemen if the lights go out, so do the line crews. Perhaps you have work around the clock near high-voltage power lines until seen them working in their bucket trucks in howling winds electricity is restored to every member in Comanche EC’s service area. In addition to aiding members in our own service territory, our lineworkers are willing and eager to volunteer when a neighboring community, county or state is in need after a major outage occurs. Several Texas co-ops came to the aid of others who su ered severe outages due to winter storms over the past few months.
