2016 RECORD BOOK.Indd 2016 RAINBOW WAHINE SOFTBALL RECORD BOOK RAINBOW WAHINE SOFTBALL STADIUM The Rainbow Wahine have played their home contests on campus since the program turned intercol- HAWAII AT RWSS legiate in 1985. The national team also 2004 19-14 .576 made a brief training stop in Honolulu in 2007 en route to their World Championships. 2005 20-13 .606 The RWSS also serves as home to the Hawaii High school Athletic Association’s state softball tour- 2006 17-11 .607 nament as well as numerous other community events. 2007 28-7 .800 Since the RWSS was fi rst constructed, UH has a 347-133 record at home. 2008 26-10 .722 In 1998, RWSS’s fi rst season of play, UH went 28-2 at home and 46-15 overall. In 1999 the team 2009 18-12 .600 went 19-3 with a 35-23 overall record. 2010 24-8 .750 The RWSS has seen conference championship teams (2003, ’07, ’10, ‘12, ‘13). In 2007, UH fans 2011 24-9 .727 were treated to one of the best season in school history with the team notching wins over several ranked 2012 26-3 .897 teams at home, a majority coming during the four non-conference tournaments that Hawai`i hosted. The 2013 28-7 .800 ‘Bows earned home wins over Top 25 teams Nebraska, Auburn, DePaul, Oregon State, Baylor, California, 2014 11-19 .367 and Fresno State. The team went on to advance to the NCAA Super Regionals in Knoxville, Tenn. for the 2015 22-17 .564 fi rst time in school and conference history. TOTAL 380-169 .692 In 2008, the ‘Bows went 40-21 at the RWSS and hosted the WAC Tournament for the fi rst time ever. Hawai‘i fi nished with a solid 40-21 season going and making their eighth appearance in the NCAA’s. Overall Record Then, in 2010, the Rainbow Wahine set the world afi re winning both the WAC regular season and Year W-L Win % tournament titles; the NCAA Regional and NCAA Super Regional to advance to its fi rst Women’s College World Series. The ‘Bows went 24-8 at home that season and went on to fi nish the season at 50-16. 1998 46-15 .754 In 2012, the ‘Bows started on a school-record 21-game win streak and went 26-3 at home en route 1999 35-23 .603 to its fourth Western Athletic Conference title and 10th appearance in the NCAA tournament.
