Mexican League Soccer With 67%* of ESPN Deportes viewers being of Mexican decent, the network serves its predominant fan base by bringing Mexican League Soccer to the air. Home to 18 clubs, which are divided into three groups, ESPN Deportes will air 34 Live Mexican League Soccer games during the Apertura (August – November) and Clausura (January – May) seasons. La Liga de Fútbol Profesional: (Spanish ) Welcoming one of the world’s elite soccer leagues, La Liga makes its ESPN Deportes debut in August 2009. Called ‘The league of the Stars’, and at the very top of Europe’s Soccer Federation, UEFA; Spain’s La Liga is the home of some of the globe’s most renowned soccer teams including Real Madrid and Barcelona and 18 other fiercely competitive clubs, ESPN Deportes will provide fans all the latest La Liga action. Tune-in as the world’s best players; Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) and Kaká (Real Madrid) battle to make their team league champion. ESPN Deportes will proudly broadcast more than 95 exclusive games, with a minimum of two matches per week. Schedule TBD.

Major League Soccer The premiere professional soccer league in the U.S. returns to ESPN Deportes for another eventful season (March – November). ESPN Deportes will be the exclusive Spanish-language provider of 26 regular season games and five playoff matches. Tune-in as the Columbus Crew and league MVP Guillermo Barros Schelotto defend their 2008 championship.

2010 South American World Cup Qualifiers ESPN Deportes is the exclusive Spanish-language provider of the 2010 South American World Cup Qualifiers (June 2008 – October 2009). This high-level competition brings the greatest soccer nations to the field to determine which will compete in the world’s most elite soccer competition, the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Capturing the passion Hispanics feel for their nations, 10 national teams from South America will not only compete to be the world's best, but also to defend their nations’ pride. Counting down the days to the main-stage, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela, and Uruguay are among the many national teams battling to earn their right of passage to the FIFA World Cup. Eredivisie: Dutch Premier League Known as , the Dutch Premier League returns to ESPN Deportes’ soccer coverage line-up. As the highest professional soccer association in the Netherlands and one of the top eight leagues in Europe, Eredivisie produces some of the top soccer clubs in the world. Home to 18 teams, the league’s season runs August through May, and with four consecutive Eredivisie titles and 21 overall championships, Club PSV Eindhoven is one of the league’s flagship teams and home to 4 world renowned Latino players. Tune-in as ESPN Deportes follows Carlos Salcido (Mexico), Francisco Rodriguez (Mexico), Edison Méndez (Ecuador) and Reimond Manco (Peru) battle long time PSV rivals, Ajax, for the league title. Fútbol Picante As the highest-rated and most-watched soccer news commentary program on Spanish-language cable TV, Fútbol Picante is a one-hour roundtable show that brings the biggest names in Mexican soccer to the forefront. Rafael Puente, Ciro Procuna and José Ramón use highlights and opinion based discussion to inform and entertain viewers. To give fans a more dynamic understanding of the sport, the program hosts interview some of the greatest players, coaches and other prominent figures both in-studio and on location. Airs nightly at 12 a.m.

Fuera de Juego Sparking opinionated discussion, Fernando Palomo, Eduardo Biscayart and Richard Méndez enlighten viewers with soccer focused conversa- tions. This 30-minute program discusses top soccer news from Europe, Latin America and the rest of the world. Airs Mondays and Fridays. (Time slot subject to change.)
