OLLI is now offering face–to–face programming, including classes, study groups, and trips. If you have been waiting to learn in person, now is the time to come back to OLLI. Please sign up for the September 22, 2021, Welcome Back Event. This will be our first large OLLI event after the pandemic and a wonderful chance to see other OLLI members again. We are excited that Greg Birkland, CEO of the KDB Group, will be our keynote speaker to give us an update on the transformational developments funded by Spring Bay native Kim Blickenstaff. We are also very proud to announce that the event will be sponsored by AARP of Illinois, and each participant will receive a OLLI tote bag as our personal “welcome back” thank you gift. The pandemic has permanently changed OLLI … for the better! The October OLLI classes are available a la carte. You have the choice of signing up for one, two, three or four classes in October. We are also excited to announce that some of the October OLLI classes will be available both in–person and via Zoom. Please look in the brochure for the classes that are "Your Choice." We will continue to offer some programs via Zoom to allow participation by members who don’t live in the area or who are not yet ready to return to face–to–face programs.And, if you spend time outside the Peoria area, you can still participate in OLLI programming. This virtual programming will include OLLI Travel Beyond Peoria, OLLI Originals with the speaker outside the Peoria area, and our unique Support Local Fall 2021 discussions.
