Recently Council has undergone an organisational redesign to ensure we can continue to deliver a high quality service to our customers.

As a result, we have a range of new positions available in our Infrastructure Planning & Operations Teams, whose responsibility will be to plan, design and deliver the infrastructure services required to support our growing region.

You’ll be joining a high performing team responsible for designing, building and maintaining some of our region’s most critical assets.

We’re looking for qualified engineers and experienced professionals who have runs on the board when it comes to planning, investigating and building reliable and sustainable transport, sewer and water services. In particular, where urban growth was a major factor.

You’ll be customer focused, a great communicator, and be able to turn ideas into actions.

Transport & Stormwater Engineering Planning Manager (Permanent Full Time)

This role will lead a team of engineers who are responsible for the engineering planning and design of transport and stormwater infrastructure across the region.

Specifically, you will focus on planning the maintenance, rehabilitation and upgrade of the transport and stormwater network, while also identifying the need for future assets required to support the growth of our community.

Water & Sewer Engineering Planning Manager (Permanent Full Time)

This role will lead a team of water and sewer engineers who are responsible for the engineering planning and design of water and sewer infrastructure across the region.

With a focus on planning for the future assets required to support the urban growth, you will also lead the maintenance, rehabilitation and upgrade of existing water and sewer infrastructure so these critical services meet our community’s expectations now, and into the future.

Water & Sewer Operations Manager (Permanent Full Time)

This role will lead six operations teams who together are responsible for managing Council’s water and wastewater operations, networks and treatment systems.

A key position in the organisation leading a large team of both professional and operational staff, you will have the responsibility to ensure that all operational requirements meet the needs of our customers in respect to water quality, public health, safety and our natural environment.
