Have a Heart for Haiti Kathy Christie, Director of the Felician University Child Care Center in Lodi, New Jersey, scheduled a special activity on Valentine's Day this year - "Have a Heart for Haiti" Pajama Day. Before Valentine's Day, the children learned from their teachers about the poverty experienced by the youngsters in Haiti where the Felician Sisters have a mission. The Pajama Day was planned as a fundraiser to help these children. Parents who brought their children to school in pajamas were asked to give a donation. Over $600 was collected to support the Felician ministry in Haiti. And the children enjoyed the Pajama Day tradition that has taken place at the Center for several years. These youngsters had fun on Pajama Day but also their awareness was increased about the many children in the world do not have the blessings taken for granted in the U.S.A.
