Individual Rankings (Players in top 25): A native of Los Angeles, Calif., Brown earned his associate’s degree from Santa Monica Smook Thomas, 1st in receptions (10.3) College in 1992 and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Cal Carlton Westbrook, 2nd in punt returns (29.1) Smook Thomas, T-9th in receiving yards (117.3) Poly in 1996. He was a two-year member of the Mustangs’ football team, leading the squad Eddie Rascon, T-21st in sacks (1.12) with 69 tackles and intercepting three passes in 1994. As a senior, when he was a team captain, Adam Peden, T-25th in fi eld goals (1.3) he registered 54 tackles and three interceptions.
