Purpose: To recognize National Women’s History Month, whose continuing Theme is: (“Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to be Silenced”) which celebrates the continuing celebration of the centennial of the 19th Amendment, and the women who have fought for woman’s right to vote in the United States. In light of the continuing celebration and in recognition of women who played significant roles in the Vote & Women’s Rights, it is our distinct pleasure to Salute in Memoriam, “The Honorable Gwen A. Moore”, as we honor her as the “BBA’s Honorary Lifetime Chairperson” in observance of her Lifetime Commitment & Dedication to the betterment of others, to the Black Business Association, and the Black Women’s right to vote and hold public office.
