In addition to Ianni, seniors Mike Enfield and Aaron Lopez earned first- team honors for the first time (Lopez was a second-team selection in 2003 and 2002, Enfield earned Mike Enfield honorable mention acclaim in 2002). Sophomores Chad Barrett, Benny Feilhaber and Brandon Owens 1st-Team All-Pac-10 received second-team acclaim. For Feilhaber, it was his first all-conference selection. Barrett and Owens M.A.C. Hermann Trophy Watch both received honors last season. On the honorable mention team were Jordan Harvey, Kamani Hill and Eric List Reed. Pac-10 Player of the Week (Oct. 12-18, Sept. 14-20) UCLA SETS NCAA RECORD WITH 38TH CONSECUTIVE WINNING SEASON — With yet another winning Soccer America Team of the season in the books, the Bruins have set a new NCAA record for consecutive winning seasons with 38 from Week (Oct. 12-18) 1967-present. The record was previously held by Saint Louis (37 consecutive from 1959-1996).

    COACHING STAFF JORGE SALCEDO HEAD COACH • 2ND YEAR • UCLA (‘02) Former UCLA All-American and assistant coach Jorge Salcedo enters his second season as head coach for the Bruins. In his fi rst season, Salcedo earned Pac-10 Co-Coach of the Year honors after leading UCLA to its third-straight conference title. His Bruins ended the regular season ranked No. 3 by Soccer America and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament, where they fi nished the year with a 14-4-2 record. Salcedo was UCLA's assistant coach from 2001-03 and helped lead the Bruins to the 2002 NCAA Championship and to two Pac-10 team championships. In 2002, he served as acting head coach in a crucial road victory at Stanford in November that helped the Bruins capture their fi rst-ever Pac-10 title. He also served as acting head coach in the spring of 2002 in the coaching transition between Todd Saldaña and Tom Fitzgerald and had CAREER HIGHLIGHTS served in a similar capacity after Fitzgerald announced his resignation.
