Please Consider Helping Support Our Youth Ministry!

Can you answer these questions? How many books are in the Catholic Bible? When Moses asked God what his name was, what did God tell him? How long did the Israelites wander in the desert? Which Gospel tells of the angel’s visit to the Mary? How is the Old Testament connected to the New Testament?

Unfortunately, many of us struggle to answer these questions and to truly understand our story as Catholic Christians. We know popular Bible stories and verses, but have a hard time understanding the thread that connects all of Sacred Scripture and applies to us today. This year in our Youth Ministry program, teens will be focusing particularly on the story of salvation history to gain a solid understanding of what it means to be a Christian and how the Bible helps to explain our Catholic Faith. We will be using The Teen Timeline study pro- gram, published by Ascension Press. If you are familiar with The Great Adventure Bible , The Bible Timeline Chart by Jeff Cavins, or the Bible in a Year podcast with Fr. Mike Schmitz, this program follows the same format. We are asking for help in supporting our youth in this program in order to purchase a group set of materials. If you would like to contribute, please complete the order form below and turn in to the collection or to the parish office by Monday, September 6, 2021. Please also include a special prayer intention for us to remem- ber in our weekly prayers during youth ministry sessions. Thank you for supporting our young people in their journey of faith!

If you would like to follow along with what our teens are learning this year or would like suggestions of materials and resources for your own personal Bible study, please contact Amy Davis at (330) 833-6898 or by emailing [email protected]
