Trailhead Passes Required in the Columbia Gorge

WASHINGTON DISCOVER PASS In , a Discover Pass is required at Washington State Parks, Washington State Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) lands, and Washington State Dept of Natural Resources (DNR) areas. One pass can be used for two cars only.

The pass is required at these Gorge locations (west to east): 1. Beacon Rock State Park including: • Beacon Rock Trailhead* • Hamilton Mountain Trailhead (including Hardy & Rodney/Pool- of-the-Winds waterfalls)* • Hardy Ridge Trailhead 2. Rowland Lake State Park (access to Catherine Creek/Coyote Wall trails) 3. Doug’s Beach State Park 4. Dalles Mountain Ranch State Park (on Dalles Mtn. Road) 5. Columbia Hills State Park including: • Horsethief Butte* • Horsethief Lake Petroglyph area*

*Convenient on-site kiosks are located at these trailheads. Payment is $10 cash. You can also purchase a pass at the Ranger Station.

Purchase a Washington Discover Pass Purchase the Discover Pass online: http://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/, by phone 866-320-9933, at the trailhead listed above, or from a licensed vendor (see below). In general, one can purchase the pass where hunting and fishing licenses are sold (Fred Meyer, Bi-mart, etc). • $10 for a DAY PASS • $30 for an ANNUAL PASS

Purchase the Discover Pass in the Gorge at (west to east): Skamania: • Port of Camas-Washougal: 24 South A Street, Washougal, WA 98671 • Skamania General Store: On Hwy 14 (north side) just west of Beacon Rock. N. Bonneville: • N. Bonneville Food Market: Turn south on Cascade; store is in the gas station. Stevenson: • Main Street Convenience Store: On Hwy 14 (north side) near west end of town. Bingen: • Bridgemart: On Hwy 14 (south side) just east of the Hood River bridge.

Purchase a NW Forest Pass A day pass can be purchased at any of the above trailheads with $5 cash or check. Note: At age 62 and older, an Interagency Senior Pass can be used instead. This $10 lifetime pass is honored nationwide at all Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and US Fish & Wildlife Service sites charging entrance or standard amenity fees. OREGON STATE PARKS - COLUMBIA GORGE There are 21 State Parks in the Columbia Gorge. Annual passes ($30) can be purchased at Rooster Rock or by calling 800-551-6949.
