Why the perception Umno’s behind cow attack MalaysiaKini.com July 5, 2014

YOURSAY ‘I had my doubts earlier until the home minister opened his mouth.’

Cow head attack not Umno's work, says sec-gen

Abasir: Perhaps Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor with a well-earned reputation for judicial appointment fixing (and now soup kitchen evictions) may have forgotten that two Umno home ministers have publicly condoned these acts.

Hishammuddin Hussein of the MH370 loss and New Zealand assault 'attempted cover-up' fame hosted the Shah Alam cow’s head protesters to tea at his office while , the known assailant of his daughter's boyfriend, rationalised the deed.

Swipenter: If stern and swift actions were taken by the authorities in the first cow-head incident in Shah Alam this sort of provocation would never repeat again. Instead it was tacitly sanctioned.

Kingfisher: This seemingly amoral positioning of logic and reasoning in favour of Umno by its secretary-general seems to underlie irresponsible pretensions at disregarding what is often time seen by others as the apparent immorality in much of Umno's questionable initiatives in recent times in not truly fostering interracial harmony and especially since the last two GE.

Umno especially has much to redeem from blame.

Telestai!: Tengku Adnan, I wonder why you are so sure it wasn't the work of Umno. I had my doubts earlier until your loose cannon home minister opened his mouth.

Hearty Malaysian: Umno ministers speak and act with ‘ketuanan Melayu’ attitudes, condone violence by Umno members towards other parties, PM keeping silence on various Malay NGOs who use neo-Nazi approach against other races and religions, plus Umno twisting the constitutional rights of other religions followers, how would you expect, Tengku Adnan, the people would believe it has nothing to do with Umno?

Prove it to the people that Umno is not suppressing others by your deeds instead of empty words.

Start by removing the home minister from his post as he seems not concerned about violent threats against elected representatives RSN Rayer and , remove the IGP as he is not enforcing the civil court order by sending the child taken by a converted father back to the mother.

Headhunter: Tengku Adnan, who but Umno is now turning the country upside down with its bigotry and racist taunt?

It's not hard to believe that Umno is behind it as even your ministers and PM are encouraging them by openly supporting such behaviour. That you can't deny.

Whatif: Yes, right. I believe you just as I believe the Allah issue is also not the work of your party.

Fairplayer: Have you ever heard the devil telling people he is evil? Which liar ever admits s/he is a liar? Which thief ever owns up unless caught red-handed? Which criminal ever proclaims s/he is a criminal? Save your breath, Tengku Adnan!

Nil: It might not be Umno who actually did it but why is this the public opinion?

You see, it has come to the stage where anything untoward happens in this country, the people put the blame on Umno. Why indeed?

Hplooi: But pro-Umno groups did a cow-head protest back in 2009. And Umno vice-president who garnered the most votes in the party (Zahid) is on record as indirectly supporting this current cow-head incident.

The police too, which is under the control of Umno (via the Home Ministry and again helmed by the man with the most votes in Umno), has not taken action despite clear case of incitement and sedition during the chicken-head and other serious incidents.

This include the thuggish invasion of a state assembly and clear case of public riot in front of an opposition party’s office.

The current campaign by some hidden hand to demonise the Christians as a threat is also part of an evil agenda which can only be directly linked to Umno. Again, key circumstantial evidence is non action by the prime minister.

So can we conclude that such evil acts and intentions emanate from Umno?

Fabian Sim: Yes, just like that seditious placards during an Umno demonstration in front of DAP's office just happened to be there.

Siang Malam: I don't remember anyone has explicitly accused Umno, Tengku Adnan, so why are you so vehemently defending Umno?

Lynn: It must be true because an Umno minister said so, and Umno leaders are known to be the most honest and trustworthy of people, aren't they?

Michael Ng 34f2: It must be Opposition Leader himself on the motor bike with helmet and visor on.

He threw the cow’s head and danced in front of Rayer’s house before riding away, right Ku Nan?
