The University Health Network Hospitals are teaching centres, affiliated with the . This challenging position will combine the practice of Critical Care Medicine and Anaesthesia with ample opportunity for clinical or basic science research. The MSICUs at TGH and TWH have a capacity of 20 & 25 beds respectively. Special interest include pulmonary, liver, and pancreas transplantation, systemic inflammatory response syndrome, respiratory failure, nonconventional ventilation and the neurosciences. Rotation in the MSICU will be 1 in 4 weeks to 1 in 6 weeks.
