Candidates who have obtained minimum 45% marks in the preferred subject for applying honours (exemption for the honours subjects i.e. Education & Santali only) as well as in aggregate (best of four subjects) in H.S. examination in 2020, 2019, 2018 from any recognized Board/ Council are eligible to apply for Honours Course. Candidates who have obtained minimum qualifying marks in aggregate (best of four subjects) in H.S. examination in 2020, 2019, 2018 from any recognized Board/ Council are eligible to apply for Programme Course. Online submission of Application Form will be available from 10th August, 2020 to 24th August, 2020. The application fee is Rs. 200/- in case of applying two preferred subjects for Honours Course as well as Programme Course. The application fee is Rs. 150/- in case of applying Two preferred subject for Honours Course. The application fee is Rs. 100/- in case of applying Programme Course only. Important Instructions and Admission Schedule for UG First Semester Students of B.A.(Honours) and Programme for the Academic Session 2020-2021. Admission procedure will start from 10/08/2020 and the guidelines as per Govt. Notification No. 434-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14, dated 16/07/2020 by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, will be strictly followed during the admission procedure. Important Dates for admission are as followed: Online Application: 10th - 24th August, 2020 Publication of First Merit List: 29th August, 2020 Admission according to the First Merit List will start: 31st August – 3rd September 2020 Publication of 2nd Merit List: 5th September 2020 Admission according to the 2nd Merit List will start: 5th – 8th September 2020 Publication of 3rd Merit List: 10th September 2020 Admission according to the 3rd Merit List will start: 10th – 13th September 2020 Publication of 4th Merit List: 15th September 2020 Admission according to the 4th Merit List will start: 15th – 18th September 2020 Publication of 5th Merit List: 21st September 2020 Admission according to the 5th Merit List will start: 21st – 23rd September 2020 The admission process will be entirely online and according to merit. Prospective students will not be called for counselling or verification of documents during admission process. No physical presence will be required at the college campus during the process of admission. Admission Regulation prescribed by Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University and Reservation policy as per Government rules will be followed. The candidates eligible for admission will be informed directly in a suitable way by the authority. Payment of fees should be done only through e-payment or designated banks and should not be deposited physically at our college campus. All testimonials are required to be uploaded online during application. Verification of documents if required, will be done only when the students report for the classes in due course of time. Proper action will be taken if any discrepancy is found. Intake capacity of the existing subjects is described in the following: Honours Course: Bengali- 29, English-17, History-22, Pol.Sc.-28, Education-17, Sanskrit- 22, Santali-22.
