Hello Shockey Travelers, Thank you for being a valuable part of our Shockey family. We are thrilled you are reviewing our 2013 catalog. I am Denny Bridges, the nephew of John and Faye Shockey. In 2012, John approached me about coming into the family business to assist him and Faye in managing Shockey Tours while they take a little time off for rest and relaxation or, as we call it, semi-retired. Over the past year I have learned much about the touring business of today. The reason I say “of today” is that the touring business is not the same as it was when Shockey Tours started over 25 years ago. Travelers of today are more spontaneous and independent. They plan trips on the spur of the moment and take more trips on their own.

At Shockey Tours, we offer the opportunity for you to relax and leave the planning to us. We design the schedule, make the reservations, plan the route, take care of the driving and parking, and, our favorite part, pamper our travelers along the way. The future of Shockey Tours is to offer our travelers’ favorite tours

while placing themThose on the who best have motor traveled coach withwith usthe know best Driverwe have and the Tour best! Director possible.

Therefore, this year’s catalog is scaled down to offer the best possible experience for our Shockey travelers by offering our most requested tours. It is our goal not to cancel a single tour this year so when travelers book, they will feel confident they will be taking that trip of a lifetime. We need your help. We need you to book your tours as early as possible so you don’t miss out. Many of our hotels and attractions require us to confirm/cancel our reservations 45-60 days out, so our

commitments must be made based on our total number booked at that date. Also, having limited tours, our tours will fill up quickly. (As always, when you make your reservation with a paid deposit, 100% of your deposit will be refunded to you if any reason we have to cancel the tour.) We are very excited about the future of Shockey Tours, and we do plan to continue making “Your Pleasure, Our Business” for a very long time. Blessing,
