$1,000,000 In the course of listening to one another and reflecting on parish life and ministry over the past year, the PPC recommended a number $900,000 of initiatives. Youth Ministry and Young Adult Ministry were two $800,000 GOAL gaps that the PPC members (and I) saw in parish life. So we now $700,000 have the wonderful beginnings of Youth Ministry (for Jr. High and High School students) evident in this Sunday’s Pancake Breakfast $600,000 to raise money for their adopted family in Puerto Rico, displaced by $500,000 COLLECTED the ravages of hurricane Maria. Just a few weeks ago, I asked two $400,000 young adults (twenty-somethings) who are weekend Mass regulars $300,000 to sit down with me and brainstorm ideas for drawing more men and women in their age group into a closer relationship with the $200,000 parish. It was a great conversation and you’ll hear more about that $100,000 in the coming months. In addition, this year’s Mardi Gras and the Ash Wednesday “Welcome” initiative were products of PPC dis- ●●● cussions. (Continued on page 3)
