28 TERPS SHATTER ATTENDANCE RECORDS TOP ATTENDANCES TERPS BREAK ACC ATTENDNANCE RECORD • The Terps’ sold-out game vs. the Tar Heels on Jan. 28 set a new ACC single-game attendance record for a Top 10 ACC Attendance Marks: women’s basketball game. Fans filled the 17,950-seat arena to support the Terps and then filled the five-year 1. 17,950 Jan. 28, 2007 old building again for its final regular-season game against Duke on Feb. 18. Maryland vs. Duke (Comcast Center) • Maryland boasts the top six crowds ever in ACC women’s basketball history (games between conference 17,950 Jan. 28, 2007 teams), and eight of the top 10. It is the Maryland vs. Duke (Comcast Center) highest-ever ranking for the Terps. In Doron’s collegiate debut on Nov. 21, 2003, 683 fans sat in the NATIONAL HOME ATTENDANCES stands and watched her make and NCAA-record 23 free throws against Coppin State. This year, Doron and Aurelie bid farewell to College Park in front of a sold out Comcast Center, nearly 18,000 fans. Rank School Total Att./Games Avg. 1.
