Download Seether Album Gasoline Torrent Disclaimer download seether album gasoline torrent Disclaimer. The hard rock trio known as Seether has concocted an album that is ripe with vulnerable angst, as Disclaimer is a debut that follows the path that bands such as Staind and Cold have capitalized on in the 21st century. In fact, Seether's moody rock edge borders on the formerly prominent grunge style once championed by another trio, Nirvana. This comparison may be a bit overboard, yet the first half of Seether's debut does expose a visible Cobain influence on these three men from South Africa. Songs like "Gasoline" and "69 Tea" are overbearing and weigh heavy on the listener's mood as Seether churns through these aggressive yet depressive bursts of attitude. The album evens out as it progresses, as tracks such as "Driven Under" and "Pride" are reluctantly catchy yet assuredly satisfying in riling one up or allowing you to calm yourself down. Seether reveals its weak side on the mellower songs, as "Sympathetic" and "Fade Away" stumble along like the group is unsure of itself. They are much more comfortable in the raging aggro stomp of "Pig" and "F**k It," which could become a volatile theme for the Y generation. The album closes with the one successful laid-back song: "Broken" is mellow yet confident, as vocalist Shaun Morgan finds the courage to open himself up without releasing a scream every few seconds. Disclaimer is an album that breaks no new ground, yet manages to find its footing as it unfolds and eventually wins the listener over with moody determination. VA - 90's Hard Rock Essentials (2021) Mp3 320kbps [PMEDIA] . quote: After a decade of hair bands singing about wild times and fast living, hard rock in the ’90s turned darker, heavier and meaner. This can be credited to the commercial success of a wave of bands emerging from outside the mainstream. Metallica’s bulldozing arena anthems reflect their thrash-metal roots, Nirvana’s grunge revolution delivered the angst of underground rock to MTV, Rage Against the Machine’s politically charged attacks reflected their days in the hardcore scene and Tool’s harsh nihilism grew out of the fringes of alt-metal. Outside of Guns N’ Roses, who managed to score some awfully big hits early in the decade, few veteran pop-metal acts survived these seismic shifts. It wouldn’t be until the tail end of the ’90s that a brash young MC from Detroit calling himself Kid Rock would help revive high-volume party music with his infectious mix of swaggering rock riffs and megaton hip-hop beats. Buy the album Starting at £14.99. The artwork of Seether's 2013 compilation 2002-2013 is a picture of a dog defecating. Read one way, this crappy cover could be taken as the post-grunge trio's opinion of the need for a compilation; read another, it could be taken as a criticism of the band's music. Either way, there's no getting around that it's an ugly cover for a by-the-books greatest-hits, a 15-track overview that contains all the band's modern rock radio hits -- including "Broken," the duet with Amy Lee -- and emphasizing their latter-day albums Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces and Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray over the early Disclaimer and Karma and Effect. The second disc rounds up rarities, demos, and B-sides -- songs that popped up on superhero and horror film soundtracks, plus a cover of their namesake, Veruca Salt's "Seether" -- which should please fans. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo..
