Medewerker Events Tuned Hospitality is een zelfstandige unit van Mojo en onderdeel van Live Nation, een wereldwijde beursgenoteerde live entertainment organisatie. Tuned verzorgt complete arrangementen bij concerten, festivals en andere evenementen. Met een jarenlange ervaring op het gebied van hospitality is Tuned Hospitality verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie, het faciliteren, marketeren én coördineren van diverse VIP- arrangementen bij grote en kleine evenementen in onder andere de Ziggo Dome, Afas Live, de Johan Cruijff ArenA en Ahoy Rotterdam. Zowel de zakelijke als particuliere markt wordt bediend. Een kleine greep uit de evenementen waar Tuned Hospitality bij betrokken is: Symphonica in Rosso, North Sea Jazz Festival, Lowlands, Ariana Grande, Michael Bublé, P!nk en vele anderen. Tuned Hospitality is per heden op zoek naar een: Medewerker Events Binnen een team van vier (General Manager, Hospitality & Sales Manager en twee Medewerkers Events) heb je een belangrijke ondersteunende rol in de voorbereiding- en uitvoering van de Tuned Hospitality VIP- arrangementen. Deze kunnen variëren van een intieme ‘meet & greet’ voor 15 personen bij een show in de Ziggo Dome tot aan een grote outdoor show met wel 2000 VIP-pakketten (inclusief ‘Early entries’). De rol is voornamelijk van administratieve en organisatorische aard, waarbij je tevens nauw samenwerkt met diverse andere (interne) stakeholders. Je houdt de website bij, verzorgt mailings aan klanten en bent eerste aanspreekpunt voor het beantwoorden van telefoontjes en e-mails van (internationale) gasten over allerlei verschillende arrangementen. Op verzoek kun je ook worden gevraagd om tijdens aangewezen evenementen ondersteuning te bieden aan de projectleider, of om zelf op te treden als aanspreekpunt. Een dynamische rol in een toffe branche dus, waarbij je je te allen tijde inzet om de VIP-gasten een optimale en onvergetelijke ervaring te bezorgen! Is dit iets voor jou? Naast uiteraard een ontzettend gezellige collega, zijn wij op zoek naar een gestructureerd en georganiseerd persoon die goed overzicht kan houden én gastvrijheid door zijn/haar bloed heeft stromen. Deze functie zou mooi aansluiten na enige ervaring in een startersfunctie. Bij voorkeur ben je in het bezit van een HBO diploma Vrijetijdsmanagement, Hoger Hotelonderwijs, Hospitality & Evenementen Management of een vergelijkbare richting. Vanwege het vaak internationale karakter van onze evenementen en stakeholders is het belangrijk dat je je goed kan uitdrukken in de Engelse taal, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling. Het is een grote pré als je horeca ervaring hebt, en ook als je gedegen kennis hebt (van het commercieel inzetten) van Websites en Social Media. Daarnaast is goede kennis van Excel een must gezien de administratieve aard van de rol. Arbeidsvoorwaarden Naast dat Tuned Hospitality natuurlijk een te gek bedrijf is om voor te werken, bieden wij een marktconform salaris en een uitgebreid pakket aan secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden. Het betreft een functie voor in eerste instantie één jaar, met uitzicht op langer / vast dienstverband. De rol is voor 40 uur per week waarbij de werk- zaamheden gedeeltelijk in de avonduren en weekenden kunnen plaatsvinden. De standplaats is Amsterdam. Reageren? BACKGROUND Spectra Venue Management (Spectra) has operated the Abbotsford Centre - a multi-use community, entertainment, cultural and sports facility on behalf of the City of Abbotsford since 2008. DISCUSSION In the past four years since the New Game was launched, the venue has increased community access, and generated a significant economic vibrancy for the businesses and residents of Abbotsford and surrounding area through successful event and community bookings. It was clearly another good year for the venue with 52 concerts and special events and hosting over 175,000 guests last year.
