Memorials Jeff, I never had the pleasure of meeting Karen, but know you online through Tres Dias as a caring person and a praying man. I appreciate all the encouragement you have given me at worrisome times when I have requested prayer. And now in your difficult time I want you to know that I’m praying for you, Chris, your family, and all those who love and mourn Karen, that God who is the God of compassion and comfort will comfort you and surround you with believers who will be there to help you through this painful time. LARAINE FLICK, JUNE 22, 2021 Dearest Jeff and Chris - My deepest sympathy in Karen’s passing. Karen was one of the biggest influences in my life. I have known and stayed in touch with Karen for over 50 starting with her first year of teaching - and 8th Grade music in Randolph was a challenge. After that, I was one of the lucky ones to take guitar lessons from Karen. Her knowledge of music theory and love of music shaped my life and continues to do so. I am blessed to be able to pass her love of music and knowledge onto others. Even more, I am truly blessed to have been friends with Karen for most of my life. Karen’s kindness and gentle soul touched everyone she knew. I cherish my time with Karen and will carry her memories with me always. May her memories bring you peace and comfort today, tomorrow and always. We are all so very blessed to have had Karen in our lives. My love to everyone - Jeff, Chris and family, Marilee MARILEE CHIPOLETTI, JUNE 19, 2021 My love and prayers go out to Chris and Jeff in this difficult time. She truly touched my heart and I always felt encouraged by her words and her caring heart. I am truly saddened it will carry her memory in my heart always grateful for the blessing that she is. MEMPHIS MAXWELL, JUNE 18, 2021 I'm so sorry to hear of Karen's passing, as she was a real sweetheart. I am thankful that she blessed almost my entire life. Karen was one of my sister's friends when they were in High School together then she was my eighth grade music teacher right after she graduated from college; she was so sweet and gullible and we all played tricks on her all of the time ... but she laughed it off and forgave us all. I also received piano lessons from Karen's mother for a few years and would see Karen on occasion when showing to pretend that I was prepared and had practiced my assignments. (-: Forty years later, Karen came to my home and tried her best to teach my own daughter to play piano... who followed in my non-practicing footsteps... The greatest fun I had with Karen was singing with her for years in the Mount Fern church choir. Karen sang with us and sometimes provided the musical accompaniment for our choir anthems. She was a wonderful, happy person and I feel blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing her for so many years. Rest in Peace Karen, you were truly a blessing to those of us whose lives you touched here on Earth. I will always cherish the memories I have of our times together. - Joyce JOYCE LANGENKAMP SCHWALM, JUNE 18, 2021 Several years ago I had the privilege of singing in the St. Phillips choir with Karen and Jeff Evans. Their musicianship was an inspiration to me and I appreciated their commitment to the music program. I'm glad to know Karen is at peace now and that Jeff will continue to make music. Brenda Dillon BRENDA DILLON, JUNE 18, 2021 Karen was a beautiful, kind woman. She was faithful member on Mt. Fern UMC, in Randolph NJ. She shared her musical talents during services along with her devoted husband, Jeff at Mt. Fern. She was sorely missed when she and Jeff moved to Frisco. I was fortunate to have the pleasure of having Karen and Jeff to stay at my home a few years ago. She was also talented in making beautiful jewelry. JANE BOSCHEN, JUNE 18, 2021 Dear Jeff, we are so sorry for your loss. We enjoyed singing praises with you and Karen. Peace, Bob & Carla BOB & CARLA KENYON, JUNE 18, 2021 My prayers are with you and your family. I have many wonderful memories over the past several years. God bless you all! RHONDA LUKER, JUNE 18, 2021 We are so sorry to hear of Karen's passing, but rejoice to know she is now enjoying her glorified body and is now in the presence of her Lord. Friendliness is a word that described Karen. She and Jeff were the first friends Phil introduced me to when we began dating, and she immediately extended the right hand of friendship to me. I know she had many struggles, but always tried to be upbeat despite them. She was Phil's guitar teacher back before we were married, and he has enjoyed many decades of playing guitar, thanks to Karen. We are praying for you, Jeff and Chris.
