Management Programs: Law Exams Dear Parent , It is our proud privilege to announce that we are starting with coaching for classes XI & XII for CLAT , IPM/BBA, IPM/BBA+CLAT courses in collaboration with T.I.M.E. institute. The details of the courses is as follows: MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS: 1. IPMAT: Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th Year). IIM Indore admits about 120 students to the IPM every year. It is a two hour entrance test based to check student on their English and Quantitative skills with 100 questions followed by WAT and PI. 2. NPAT: NPAT (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs being offered by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC act 1956) at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Indore and Navi Mumbai Campuses. They offer around 720 seats. It is a two hour entrance test based to check student on English, Logical reasoning , Data interpretation and Maths consisting of 120 questions . 3. SET: Symbiosis center for management studies, Pune established in 2004, is a department of Symbiosis International University. It is a two and a half hour test which tests students on the basis of their English, reasoning , GK and Maths with 150 questions. They offer around 480 seats. 4. DU-JAT: DU carries its own brand value. It offers the three year management, financial investment and economic programs. They have 413 seats in BMS, 90 in BFIA. DU JAT is again followed by GD and PI. 5. CU-ET: Chirst University in Bangalore was founded in 1969 and offers BBA(Regular), BBA(Finance and International Business) and BBA( hons.) This entrance test is followed by Micropresentation, PI and skill assessment test (SAT). 6. XAT: XAT is conducted by xavier’s college, Mumbai and offers BMS with 60 seats. 7. UGAT: Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test being administered by AIMA annually to screen the candidates for various under graduate programs such as Integrated MBA (IMBA), BBA, BCA, BHM, B.Com. There are under 58 colleges that take UGAT’S score including Nirma University, Ahmedabad. 8. IPU: Guru govind singh indraprasth university, established in 1998 by Delhi Govt. There are 23 colleges offering BBA affiliated to GGSIPU. The selection process is through entrance test only. LAW EXAMS: 1. CLAT: The Common Law Admission test (CLAT) is conducted for admission to the undergraduate program for eighteen law universities. A total of 200 questions are asked in two hours testing the students on English, GK, Elementary maths , legal aptitude and logical reasoning. 2. AILET: Admission to five year B.A. L.L.B.(Hons.) program is based on the scores obtained in All India Entrance Examination. It is among the premier law universities in India. It has 150 questions that an aspirant has to attempt in 90 minutes. 3. SET: Symbiosis law school, Pune, was established in 1977 under the banner of symbiosis society. It offers BBA LLB and BA LLB by testing students on logical reasoning, legal reasoning, English , GK and analytical abilities followed by a WAT , PI . 4. LSAT: It’s a common law entrance test for multiple law colleges like O.P. Jindal, Indore institute of law, Alliance School of Law etc. it contains around 100 questions with a time duration of 140 minutes. 5. HPNLET: NLU Shimla offers admission through their own law entrance test which contains 150 questions of quantitative aptitude, legal awareness and reasoning , English comprehension and general awareness. There are 60 seats in this program. 6. MHCET LAW: Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra has declared the MH CET Law 2018 result for 5-year LLB programmes on May 7. DHE conducts Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test for admissions to undergraduate law programmes on offer across the law colleges of the state.This law entrance is for colleges in Maharashtra like ILS pune, GLC Bombay. 7. ULSAT: The college of legal studies at UPES offers BA LLB, B. Com LLB, B. Sc LLB, B.Tech LLB and the entrance test contains 200 questions. The number of seats offered are 600. 8. GGSIPU: Guru Govind Singh Indraprasth Univesity conducts common entrance test for admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB. It offers 700 seats at various colleges like amity law school, ideal institute of management technology. There are 150 questions to be done in 150 minutes. HOSPITALITY COURSES: 1. NCHMCT: Its an autonomous body under ministry of tourism, GOI. It is imparted at 21 Central institutes(Mainly IHMs), 21 State Govt. insti., 15 Pvt. Institutes and 7 food craft institutes across country. There are a total of 8116 seats. The exam is of three hours that tests students on numerical ability, reasoning, GK, English and service sector aptitude with an overall 200 questions. 2. E-CHAT: It is organized by International Institute of Hotel Management which has around 7 campuses in India 3. STEP: Systematic Training and education program is a three year program conducted by Oberoi Hotel. The selection process is through group exercise, PI and profiling. 4. WELCOMGROUP: The learning institute of ITC Ltd, offers Welcomlegionnaire, that develops “made in ITC” managers. Admissions are offered on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, written test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. 5. IHM AURANGABAD: It is run by Taj Hotel Resorts and Palaces. The selection process has profiling test, SOP and GD and PI. B.COM COURSES: 1. CUET: Christ university offers B.com (Hons.), B.com (Proffesional ) 2. NPAT : Anil surendrabhai school of commerce offers B.com (Hons) with 120 seats. Similar pattern is followed by symbiosis through SET and GGSIPU. MASS COMMUNICATION AND JOURNALISM COURSES: 1. Xavier’s Bombay: It provides bachelor of mass media through their entrance test. 2. Symbiosis University, Pune: Symbiosis Centre of media and communication conducts SET to get admission in their mass communication program 3. Indian Institute of Mass Communication: It is also a mass communication program funded and promoted by government of India. 4. Christ university: They take admissions through their common entrance test called CUET. The classes will be held everyday after school hours. The fee details are as follows: For class XII - 1 year course S.no Course Fees 1 IPM/BBA ₹60,000 2 IPM/BBA+CLAT ₹70,000 3 Only CLAT ₹60,000 There will be 150 sessions of 2 hours each for 1 year. For class XI- 2 year course S.no Course Fees 1 IPM/BBA ₹70,000 2 IPM/BBA+CLAT ₹80,000 3. Only CLAT ₹70,000 There will be 180 sessions of two hour each in 2 years.     A BRIEF REPORT OF ABOUT UNIVERSUMM UniversuMM is the most prominent youth festival amongst the Inter-University youth fests organized in the North India. The festival aims at bringing out the hidden talents of the students and helps them in their overall development. A combination of Cultural, Sports, Fine Arts, Technical events, uncontrolled glamour, Literary- the fest creates an aura of fun and frolic for three days. Students being the organizers nurture their leadership and managerial skills during the ceremony. The fest becomes a feast for the students for the whole year to come. Students from different cultural and social background come at one platform to showcase their talents. A plethora of diversity amalgamate into oneness and unity, giving the word UniversuMM its real sense. The main attractions during this mega festival include Fashion Parade, Battle of Bands, Star Night, Group Dances, Mr. & Ms. UniversuMM, Game-Designing, Robowars, Aeromodelling filled with enthusiastic and lively spirit of the youth. UniversuMM in the past has witnessed galaxy of stars in the star nights including the Aryans, Kailash Kher, Sunidhi Chauhan, Badshah etc. BRIEF REPORT OF UNIVERSUMM 2017 The national level youth festival UniversuMM 2K17 was organized in the Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Ambala from 10 September, 2017 to 12 September, 2017, in which students from about 240 universities and colleges participated in 95 team and individual competitions. These competitions were divided into different categories such as cultural, literary, fine arts, technical, management, hospitality, health science etc. In the cultural category, different competitions related to dance, music and singing were included in which the fashion parade, battle of bands, folk dance were the main attractions.
