Planning an event can be exhilarating and exciting, but it is also a lot of hard work. To make it easier we are here to assist you along every step of the way. We offer a great selection of amenities, products and services to meet your needs. Whether you are hosting a business meeting, wedding reception, political event, celebration or a holiday party, the staff of our restaurant are here to see that all of the details are taken care of.

We have created this information packet to help you get to know the city, hotel and restaurant as well as the amenities and services that we provide. To help you find your way around town, we’ve included a map of Raleigh. You’ll see that our restaurant is conveniently located at 500 Fayetteville Street, between the Raleigh Convention Center and the Raleigh Performing Arts Center and blocks from the State Capital.

If an event patron is a tax-exempt organization, valid North Carolina sales tax exempt certification must be submitted to the Raleigh Marriott City Center’s Accounting Department no later than (10) business days prior to the day of the event

Guarantees Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen requires a minimum guaranteed number of guests prior to your event, please inform us of this number when you book your event. A minimum of three (3) days or seventy-two (72) hours is required for ANY changes to the guest count. In the event additional guests should attend, please note that we cannot guarantee additional seating/meal selections, but will make every effort to accommodate.

Deposit and Payment A final Agreement Form must be secured with an adequate method of payment to reserve the Private Dining space. The Agreement Form secures the spacing to prevent overbooking and aids those who are in the planning process, and are fully committed to our private dining options. A deposit of up to 20% of the cost of your event may be charged prior to your event. Cash, Check and Credit Cards are accepted as payment. If final payment is being made by check, it must be received by the restaurant 21 business days prior to the scheduled program date.

Cancellation In the event of a cancellation, written notification must be sent to the restaurant. Cancellation fees will apply as outlined in the contracted agreement. Deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation is made before 90 days no additional fees are incurred, at 90 days additional fees of 50% of the cost of the event are imposed. After less than 60 days 75% of the event will be charged, and after 30 days the total cost of the event will be appropriated.

This document does not constitute an offer by, binding agreement with or create any obligation, legal or otherwise, upon Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen to provide any product, amenity or service. Cancellation after the cut off date will result in the forfeiture of deposit. Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen may also retain any portion or all of any other monies received or impose additional fees and/or charges, consistent with signed contracts, to cover any expenditure which may have been made in preparation for, or which will be incurred afterward by, cancellation of your event. Any refunds are at the sole discretion of management. Then your organization or party assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages and claims arriving out of injury or damage to the organization’s displays, equipment and other property brought upon the premises of the Restaurant or Hotel and should indemnify and hold harmless the restaurant, agents and employees.
