The creation of Petersham-Marrickville DCC itself was the result of an amalgamation in 1951 between Petersham DCC (1899-1951) and Marrickville DCC (1910-1951). The collective lifespan of each of the four foundation clubs together with the nine seasons of Randwick Petersham to 2009-10 represents a total of 252 cricket playing years. This number is well in excess of the 223 years history of the MCC at Lord’s which was founded in 1787. While the MCC is indoubtedly the world’s most famous cricket club, with its heritage spanning 252 years, Randwick Petersham may well be the oldest cricket club in the world. 1 Randwick Petersham Cricket Club Incorporated Founded 2001 www.randwickpetershamcricket.com.au NINTH ANNUAL REPORT 2009-10 Notice of Annual Meeting Notice is hereby given that the Ninth Annual General Meeting of Randwick Petersham Cricket Club Incorporated will be held at Petersham RSL Club, Regent St., Petersham on Thursday 15 July 2010 at 7.00pm.
