Connectivity with Block The nearest rail head is Warora railway station lies on the Delhi-Madras Nearest Rail Head main railway line (broad gauge) and is located at distanc of 43 kms from the block. An all-weather metalled road connecting Warora and Chimur passes through the southern part of the block. The block is also connected to the Road Nagpur via Chimur, Kampa, and Umrer as well as via Warora & Jam by all-weather metalled roads. Airport Nearest airport is at Nagpur 3. Area Geological Block Area Approx. 17.4 sq.km. (As per shape file. Refer Note No. 3) Forest Area Approx. 80 % (As per FSI map) Non-Forest Area Approx. 20 % (As per FSI map) 4. Topography Local Surface The main drainage system of the block is controlled by the southerly Drainage Channels flowing Gani Nala which passes through the central part of the block in the east. Small seasonal nalas flowing from the different parts of the block join the Gani Nala 5. The dip on the eastern limb is gentle with an amount varying from 2º to General Dip of Seams 6º whereas the same is very steep on the western limb with amount varying between 6º to 28º. The general strike of the strata is N-S on the eastern limb whereas on the General Strike Direction western limb it is NW-SE with some local variation.
