Closer to Home Walking Network, Stoke-on-Trent Programme of Health Walks, from January 2015 Our city-wide health walks are FREE and open to all - no need to book, just turn up at the meeting point. Walks are led by Walking for Health trained walk leaders. They usually last between 45 and 90 minutes. If you haven’t walked for a while, shorter walks (10 to 30 minutes) are available to help you get going. If you are coming for the first time please try and arrive about 10 minutes early and we will make sure there is a walk to suit you. We won’t normally walk on bank holidays or in very bad weather (e.g. snowy/icy). For lots more information visit our website: www.closertohomewalks.org.uk or telephone 07947 613177.
