TRANSFER OPTIONS  Completed AA or AS degree: CLC student will be evaluated to have met all lower division general education requirements at Roosevelt. However, individual majors may have additional prerequisites and/or requirements that are not covered by the IAI.  IAI GECC: Completing only the IAI General Education Core at CLC (no AA/AS) will be evaluated by Roosevelt as completing the lower division general education requirements. However, individual majors may have additional prerequisites and/or requirements that are not covered by the IAI.  Completing some courses at CLC: If transferring prior to completing the IAI General Education Core at CLC, students will follow Roosevelt’s general education requirements to meet the general education component of the baccalaureate degree.

TRANSFER CREDITS The maximum number of semester hours transferable from a community college is 70. Roosevelt will accept courses with grades of “D” for some general education course requirements, but not in the College of Education. A grade of “C” or higher must be achieved in any course required in the major, English, and math. In some programs a grade of “B” is required for major courses. (Currently under review.) Course equivalencies can be viewed at: https://www.roosevelt.edu/admission/transfer/transfer- policies-and-equivalency ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS  Transfer student = 15 hours or more.  Minimum GPA of 2.0  Minimum GPA of 2.7 and evidence of passing the TEST of Academic Proficiency (TAP) or ACT/SAT Substitution is required Basic Skills Test is required before enrolling in the Teacher Certification Programs.

CALCULATION OF ADMISSION GPA The highest grade of a repeated course will be calculated into the admission GPA. Only transferable courses are used to calculate an admission GPA (courses not included ESL and developmental coursework).
