House Resolution 157 By: Representatives Momtahan of the 17th, Gravley of the 67th, and Gullett of the 19th

A RESOLUTION

1 Commending Caleb Lee Hutchinson; and for other purposes.

2 WHEREAS, Caleb Lee Hutchinson was born on March 2, 1999, in Cobb County, Georgia, 3 and graduated from South Paulding High School, where he was involved with the Fellowship 4 of Christian Athletes; and

5 WHEREAS, Caleb was raised in Dallas, Georgia, and he discovered his passion for music 6 at an early age; he began singing at age five, started playing guitar and writing songs at age 7 12, and released his debut EP, Country Music, at age 16; and

8 WHEREAS, in addition to guitar, Caleb plays banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, and drums and 9 was a member of the praise band at New Georgia Baptist Church; he was named West 10 Georgia Teen Idol at age 16 and later won the South Paulding High School Talent Show as 11 a senior; and

12 WHEREAS, his crisp baritone and forward-thinking tastes captivated audiences during the 13 16th season of American Idol, and he has toured and recorded with notable artists such as 14 Gene Watson, Rhonda Vincent, and Kristian Bush of Sugarland; and

15 WHEREAS, Caleb has been dedicated to providing continuing innovation in the music 16 industry and remains steadfastly committed to the principles of skill, integrity, and 17 responsibility; and

18 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this 19 extraordinary young man be appropriately recognized.

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that 21 the members of this body commend Caleb Lee Hutchinson.

22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized 23 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Caleb 24 Lee Hutchinson.
