On 07.11.2015 based on secret information a team of SOG, CID WB along with others officer and men of SOG, CID WB with the assistance of Digha Police held raid and arrested the accused 1) Alam Mondal (31) S/o Amir Mondal of Vill- Mamabhagne, Ps- Bagdah, Dist- North 24 Parganas 2) Fajlu Tarafder (28) S/o Pansher Tarafder of Vill- Arsingri, PO- Tangra Colony, Ps- Bongaon, Dist- North 24 Parganas and 3) Billal Mondal (28) S/o Samser Mondal of do while they came at New Digha after collection Ganja (Cannabis) from Orisha boarded in a number plate less Maruti Omni car for transaction and dealing in Narcotics with the local innocent people of Bagdah, Bongaon Ps area and pumped into Bangladesh also. Recovered and seized 15 Kgs of Ganja (Cannabis) including the said Maruti Omni car from the arrested accused persons. On the basis of written complaint of SI Saugata Ghosh of SOG, CID, WB the above noted case was started and SI Puspen Mondal of Tamluk DD, CID WB took up its investigation of the case.
