Kurzfassung In der vorliegenden Masterarbeit wurden die Melodie-Hooklines von Popsongs, die in Deutsch- land zwischen 1978 und 2019 sehr erfolgreich waren, explorativ analysiert. Ziel war, zu unter- suchen, ob gewisse Muster in den Reihenfolgen der Töne und Tonlängen vorkommen, und diese zu finden. Für die Mustersuche wurden Markov-Ketten erster, zweiter und dritter Ord- nung sowie Chi-Quadrat-Anpassungstests berechnet. -

Annotation This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the study of negation features of non-Standard English in the song lyrics of Hip-Hop. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the ways of expressing negation of non-standard English and compare the frequency of occurrence of these non-standard features with Standard English. The theoretical part first focuses on the concept of Standard and non-Standard English, then it deals with negation and negating features of both mentioned varieties. -

This research contains the study from the documents, workshop and making a documentary film that telling about Thai Rap Music called “RAPTHAI”. RAPTHAI is the Thai contemporary art documentary film that present the ideas and lives of 12 rappers in Thailand and portray the influence of this genre of Thai contemporary music which are getting an attention and turned into one of “Thai Pop Culture” now. Thai rappers used the style of Hip-Hop / Rap music to reflect the personal lives , the lives of people in Thailand and also the social and political context in Thailand. So RAPTHAI introduces how “rap” culture has taken root in and influenced contemporary Thai society and focuses on the synergy between Thai culture and Rap music tradition. This documentary told the story through the stories of 12 Thai rappers and presents a unique look at the different styles they express through their life experiences and their music. -

Prof. Pacharaporn Kesaprakorn, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The research aimed to study the influence of source credibility of celebrity endorsement of P Way, Thaitanium, a popular Hip-Hop singer, on Thai teenagers’ perception of personal brand and English language learning intentions after watching his songs in YouTube. Two hundred participants were selected using purposive sampling and convenience sampling method. The sample were Thai teenagers currently residing in Bangkok Metropolitan, age 18 years old to over 38 years old, and they had experienced watching P Way, Thaitanium’s songs in YouTube. Multiple Regression was used to analyze the hypothesis with the statistical significance of 0.05. The findings revealed that (1) the source credibility of celebrity endorsement significantly influenced his perceived personal brand (F=8.20**, p < 0.05) among Thai teenagers. (2) The study revealed that all dimensions of source credibility were significant predictors of English language learning intentions (F=11.735**, p < 0.05).
