The Amazon is a global resource as well as a national one. “I have been asked to sign a variety of climate related petitions and letters. People are concerned. So our politicians should be talking about it and finding ways to act collectively. “The economy is a wholly owned subsidiary of the environment. At the moment there are so many initiatives to plant trees to help carbon capture. It is appalling to see such large areas of rainforest burn. "They destroy more than the trees. They destroy hope." 1 The Dun Valley Churches are members of The Clarendon Team THE CLARENDON TEAM MINISTRY OF CHURCHES TEAM RECTOR Revd Dr Simon Chambers, Tel: 01980 862231, [email protected] TEAM PRIESTS Revd Beth Hutton Tel: 01722 238504, [email protected] (with responsibility for Alderbury, West Dean, East and West Grimstead) Revd Jane Dunlop Tel: 01794 884793, [email protected] (with responsibility for Whiteparish) Revd Cynthia Buttimer Tel: 01980 862017, [email protected] Revd David Perry Tel: 07749 199453, [email protected] CLARENDON TEAM OFFICE Team Administrator 01980 863635 [email protected] TEAM LICENSED LAY MINISTERS Mrs Debbie McIsaac Tel: 01722 712907 Mr Michael Barratt Tel: 01725 238973 CLARENDON TEAM WEBSITE – www.clarendonteam.org You can find details of how to book baptisms and weddings, as well as Team Worship Services, news and activities around the Clarendon Team. Currently the 9:30am service, which often finishes at 10:30am, leaves little or no time to get to the next church to take their 11:00am service. Too often you will have seen us rushing off rather than being with you. To address this, from October the 9:30am service will begin a quarter of a hour earlier at 9:15am. We hope that the 15 minutes difference will not cause you any issues and look forward to more time with you. With every blessing, Simon Chambers, Team Rector.
